Maia's POV
It's already dark outside, and Ron and I are on the road. We are seated in the backseat of our white sedan, and our beta Toby is the one at the wheel. We are dressed to kill, and on the way into town, for the meeting of werewolf Alphas we were just invited to.
I have no idea what to expect at that party. I'm only going there because Ron assures me it will be fun. He tells me that there are about fifteen different werewolf packs here in Locksbridge, and therefore, the party won't be too crowded.
I was honestly just surprised at that number when he mentioned it. I had no idea there were that many packs in this small town. But I guess this town isn't really as small as I had imagined when my parents and I first moved here.
