CHAPTER 5

Zack's P.O.V

I was with Samantha in my office and I was carrying a heavy box full of files

then I forgot my key was on my pocket.

"Sam can you get the key on my pocket." I said.

"What? Why me?" She said.

"Well I could grab them myself if you'd carry these boxes." I answered.

"Fine..." She said.

She started rumbling on my pocket.

"I can't find it." She complained.

"It's there. I was sure I have it, I know I put it there." I said

"Fine"she grumbled as she reached down more.

She rumbled into my pocket until she grabbed something that made my eyes widen in shock.

"Oh! I think I found it!" She squealed.

Oh God! She was gently touching it maybe trying to figure out what it is. My wolf purred in what my mate was doing and it was also turning me on.

"Oh God! make her stop! unless you want me to pounce on her! MAKE HER STOP!" My wolf panicked.

She gently squeezed it making me gasp quietly. My wolf was overwhelmed with the feeling of lust.

"I think this key gotten soft yet got hard in a matter of seconds." She said confused.

I was humored by her remark she is so innocent...my innocent little mate.

"Oh mmm sh*t this is sweet torture."  My wolf stated.

"Mmmmm," I moaned.

She looked shocked and she gently pulled it.

"Is something wrong Zack?" She asked me looking at my eyes directly.

"No no no nothing's wrong." I said hurriedly.

I can feel my body heating up, this can't keep on I might scare her if ever I go wolf.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yeah..."I said unsure of what to say to her

"What's the problem Zack tell me." She said demandingly.

I can't help but to follow her...she's my mate.

"It's just that your holding another key sweetheart,your holding "my key", not the key to the closet room" I said huskily.

She hurriedly removed her hand from my pocket and looked down at the floor. She was blushing really hard her cheeks were so red.

"I'm so so sorry...i-i d-didn't mean it to happen...honestly!" She said.

"It's okay sweetheart it was just an accident"I said.

"I'm still sorry." She said.

"It's okay sweetheart look at me." I said to her.

But she kept her head down so I gently lifted her chin up.

"I'm not mad okay? it's alright okay?" I said.

She finally was looking at my eyes and I was too caught up in the moment. I feel like I was getting hypnotized by her gaze.I leaned in closer to her and claimed her lips. She seemed shocked at first but she was kissing me back.

I was trying to get entrance in her mouth but she kept on ignoring me. My wolf slightly growled making her gasp. I entered my tongue in her mouth as I deepen the kiss.

She was first to let go. My wolf whimpered at that. Why did she move back.

"I'm sorry that was a mistake..." She said wiping her lips.

Didn't she felt the sparks as we kiss?

Is she rejecting me?

Those 5 words deeply hurt me. I need to tell her soon. I have to explain everything to her. But what if she didn't want to be tied down with someone like me? What if I scared her away. I can't handle it. I want her and I need her to be with me. .Oh Moon Goddess help me.

"Get your things were going home" I said coldly.

"O-okay"she said.

She hurriedly fixed her things up and grabbed her bag and went for the door.

"Let's Go." I said coldly.

"I'll take the cab home Sir." She said as she dashed out of the room leaving me behind.

Samantha's P.O.V

I can't believe it...we kissed that was really wrong but why did I kiss back? I don't know why I feel sparks whenever we touch.I think it would be better if he keep his cold shoulder on me then.

I declined Zack's offer to take me home I need to clear my mind. Ever since he arrived I've been feeling things. Weird things. 

I took a cab home. I rushed to my room and flopped down on my bed. What's happening to me? I changed to my pajamas and went down to get a water to drink. 

Remember he's your boss. It would be unprofessional. What would my co-workers think? What would Mr. Fenner think. If ever I did went out with his son. All this thinking is making my head hurt. I went back to my room and tried to get some sleep. I closed my eyes and cleared my head.

I suddenly woke up, I rolled over to my side of bed to check my phone. What time is it? 5:21 it's still early might as well get up. I rolled up my sleeves and tied up my hair. I went to   the kitchen and started cooking.

I'm in the mood for some sausages and eggs. Might make some sandwich too for work. After cooking I went straight to the shower. 

The running water feels great against my body. I forgot my towel in my room so I ran to my room naked as a baby. I dried my hair and dressed up for work.

After a few minutes I decided to go to the office already since I can sort out some files while it's not yet office hours.

I hailed a cab and arrived 7:15 AM still has time. I was at the kitchenette making coffee.

I felt like someone was watching me from behind so I turneed.

"Good Morning." He said I jumped a little.

"Hey sorry I didn't mean to scare you." He said apologizing.

"It's okay Alex" I said.

"Want some coffee?" I asked.

"Sure I'd love some please."

We sat at the counter and chat while drinking our coffee.

"So Alex how old are you?" I asked.

"I'm 21." He answered.

"Ahh...okay I'm 20." I said.

"Cool." He said

"So do you have a boyfriend?"he asked

"Where did that came from? But to answer your question nope. I do not." 

"Do you have one?" I asked.

"Hahahaha nope I think I would never have one I like women not guys." He said laughing

Once I realized what I said I was laughing hard with him.

"So do you have a girlfriend then?" I asked.

"None ma'am" He said.

"Really?" I asked surprised.

"Yes" He said.

"Are you sure your not gay??" I said

"Yeah 100% sure,why so?"he said.

"It's just that your a gentleman. You're handsome plus you are really nice. How can that guy don't have a girlfriend?" I asked.

"Because that guy is waiting for the girl she likes." He said.

"Awww how sweet." I said.

"Don't worry that girl will surely fall for you." I said.

"I doubt it.  Might as well give up while it's early."

"Hey you can do it don't give up." I said

I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"Thank you for supporting me Sam"he said

"No problem Alex. Just do the best that you can to get that girl." I said

He kissed my forehead.

"Ehem!" A voice interrupted.

"Good Mor-" 

"I don't pay you to have little chitchats. If you want to have that chitchats of yours go home! and never come back here this serves as a warning to you. Get back to work!" He said looking at Alex.

"And I don't pay you for flirting and bitching around the office! Get back to work!" He yelled at me.

My tears were welling up in my eyes.

I can't believe he thinks so low of me. I don't know but it hurt when it came from him.

I'm forcing my tears not to fall but a tear escaped and then it was continuously falling.

"Excuse me sir I have to go to the restroom." 

I excused as I ran to the restroom.
