Chapter 9: The White Lotus Strikes Again with Malicious Schemes

Liu Min was notorious in the wealthy circles of Pingcheng for her fierce temperament. Relying on her husband's connections, she dominated the real estate industry, never having suffered such humiliation before. She glared at Nancy Gu with a sinister expression.

"You little brat, I see you don't want to stay in Pingcheng any longer."

At that moment, the homeroom teacher of Class Four, Sherry, rushed over upon hearing the news.

Liu Min angrily said, "Teacher Wang, you're just in time! Look at this good student from your class; not only did she hit my son, but now she wants to hit me too! If you don't give me an explanation for this matter, your school will never be able to survive in the education sector again."

Sherry glanced at Nancy Gu with annoyance. "Mrs. Cai, please calm down. This girl is from the countryside; her behavior is crude and unruly. Don't stoop to her level."

Liu Min refused to back down. "Hmph! This matter isn't over between me and her. Call your principal here; today I must make sure this little brat gets expelled from your school!"

Sherry felt a headache coming on; she had strongly opposed admitting Nancy Gu into their school from the beginning. Not only was her academic performance terrible, but she also frequently caused trouble—classmates had petitioned several times to have her expelled.

Unfortunately, the principal had received many benefits from the Gu family and insisted that Sherry tolerate Nancy for three months.

Now it seemed that after daring to hit Liu Min's son today, even the principal wouldn't be able to protect her anymore.

"Mrs. Cai, let's go to my office first; I'll notify Principal Zhang about this matter right away."

Now that Nancy had stirred up such big trouble, Dad would only dislike her even more.

Xena initially wanted to handle this situation personally at school but then thought of another person instead.

After hanging up with Sherry, she quickly dialed Mo Jiang's number.

"Hello? Brother Mo Jiang? Can you help me with something?" She spoke urgently as she pleaded.

Mo Jiang was taken aback: "Xena! Don't panic; what's going on?"

"It's Nancy who got into trouble today at school—she had a conflict with a male classmate and actually hit him! That boy’s parents are already at school and seem intent on having them expel Nancy! I can't tell Dad about this because I'm afraid he'll get angry over it."

Mo Jiang frowned visibly displeased by what he heard.

"Xena! Someone like Nancy doesn't deserve your kindness; she won't appreciate it."

"She's still my sister; even if she's done something wrong as an older sister I can't just stand by and do nothing! Brother Mo Jiang please!"

The more kind-hearted Xena acted towards Nancy, the more it highlighted how crude and unrefined Nancy truly was—and thus Mo Jiang grew increasingly disdainful of her.

This was exactly what Xena wanted him to feel.

Mo Jiang sighed: "Silly girl—you’re just too naive and kind-hearted."
