Chapter eight

980 Words
Samantha I'm finally out of the Blue Moon pack. A smile crept to my lips and I felt what people called “Freedom”. I’m happy I found my way out of the rogue, i can’t believe Mandy could do such a thing to me. Yes, I know she hated me but I don’t know the hatred is more intense than I can imagine. She wants to get rid of me quickly so Cain can claim her and proclaim her as his mate and Luna. Mandy has always tried hurting me several times but I managed to escape her hold. When she found out I was Cain’s mate, she looked angry and her blood was boiling inside her. She gave me a deadly look and whispered and smirked, “I will put an end to you, Samantha.” But, after being rejected by Cain, I've always felt dejected and unhappy most times. I also cry myself to bed. I love Cain, but he decided to choose many over me because he couldn't mate with an omega. Well, I’m a little bit happy because I think she will spare me now since Cain rejected me and pronounced me as his mate. But No, she is willing to do everything in her power to achieve whatever she wants even if it involves taking lives. I hope one day, Cain will realize his mistakes and know the kind of person Mandy is. “Moon goddess, why have you decided to give me this kind of destiny? Why don’t you just give me a beta, gamma, or delta? It would have been better than Cain. Few Alpha will mate with an Omega because an Omega is helpless and powerless. And some would make their omega mates s*x toys and maltreat them a lot. When I walked past the territory, I could sense the bustling cityscape, it's so huge and lovely to watch. I found myself at the crossroads. With my heart heavy and my footsteps weary, I walked the unfamiliar streets, my mind clouded with uncertainties because I didn't know what awaited me in the city. I know nobody and have no destination. I saw many cars of different models and colors, I continued walking slowly and watching as the cars rode past me. Suddenly, a Rolls Royce car pulled over beside me The tinted window rolled down, revealing the pair of eyes as deep as the night sky, filled with curiosity and kindness. “Are you lost?”, he asked, stepping out of his car. ‘Oh NO, I have never felt attracted to a guy since the rejection. He is tall, with a set of beautiful blue eyes which he has been staring into my soul. He has a chiseled jaw and a perfect skin a man could ever have. ”Hey beauty, Are you lost? He asked again, his voice smooth as silk. I nodded, my gaze meeting the stranger’s, sensing an inexplicable connection. ‘My Name is Adrian’, he said, his smile warm and reassuring. “Hop in, I can tell you're lost. Let me help you don’t mind’. I hesitated for a moment, my instincts tingling with an odd sense of trust. But I can feel this gentleman is different because I have never felt attracted like this to a man except Cain. I entered the car nervously as I pulled away from the curb. “I don't usually pick up strangers”, Adrian confessed, his eyes flickering with a mysterious glimmer. ‘But something about you felt different’. I smiled at him looked away from him and watched the paths, I don’t know but he looked charming and attractive. His smile is so contagious and suits his handsome face. “You know,” He said, his voice gentle, “sometimes, we meet people who change our lives in ways we can not explain. I believe you can be one of those people for me”. I felt a shiver run down my spine, his words sound true actually but I didn't know what to say to this gentleman because staring at his face only made me utter the wrong words. We arrived at Adrian’s luxurious home, I was wowed because the interior and exterior decorations were catching. Adrian took me upstairs and I can see lots of bedrooms. He showed me a room, the room was so wide and there was a design of a woman on the wall, it was so beautiful. Art is one of the things I loved since childhood. “Samantha, this is your room now, you can stay as long as you can. After a hearty meal, Adrian suggested a walk under the big street lights. As we strolled under the bustling streets, our conversation deepened. He talked about his company and his employees. I couldn't help but admire Adrian’s dedication to his employees and the way he talked about them with genuine care. Adrian revealed his fondness for hiking, and I shared my stories of exploring the wilderness with my pack, the rejection, and all. He felt sorry about it. THE NEXT DAY I could not find Adrian, I guess he has done to his company. I decided to unpack my bag since I had nothing else to do. I found it interesting while arranging items. While arranging my belongings, I saw a bracelet which Cain gave me on my 17th birthday. I cherished the bracelet so much that I couldn't afford to lose it. But I decided to take it off because it reminds me of Cain and every time I remember him, it makes me sad all the time. I placed it in the wardrobe beside the clothes. I headed towards the kitchen. I met the dining table already set with a variety of delicious meals. ‘I saw a note on the table which says.’
