William stepped out of the cabin, ignoring the stiffness of his muscles as he raised his hand to shield his eyes from the sun. The weakness and dizziness had disappeared after sleeping like a log through the night, but even with all the energy he had been given, he still felt weak. He couldn’t ask them for more—he had to make do with what he had replenished so far. There were people up and about already—some enjoying the fresh air that had been a rare commodity at the Headquarters, some playing board games or even lying in the grass. While the uneasiness and the tension were still there, they looked a bit more at peace. William’s eyes stopped on Peter, who was walking toward him with wide, heavy strides. Rashid was trying to keep up, waving his hands while his argument was being ignored
