“What did he want?” Etheera asked as she sat on the edge of the bed. Iris grimaced while closing the door. “To go easy on you,” she replied with an exasperated sigh. “And to find out what you remember from your time…there.” Iris made her way to the bed, sitting next to her. Etheera had no idea why, but she felt at ease around her, probably the real Annabel’s emotions taking over her senses again.
