“Careful!” William shouted at the two children, who almost crashed into him while they were running down the corridor. He had to grab one by the shoulder before the boy fell on his face. The child looked at him with wide eyes, then wiggled out of his grip and ran away with his buddy. The evacuation was almost complete. They had secured three safe houses; they had destroyed or prepared to take with them anything that could give away their location or betray their plans in any way; they had portalled out over seventy percent of the people in the Headquarters.
