I asked Thayu if she wanted to take all the equipment. She said she had already taken scans that would tell her a lot, and explained that if we wanted to remove the devices from the cabin, we needed to tow the boat to shore. “This technology will all be set up to run automatically. Once we disconnect and disable everything, someone will get a notification, will send reinforcements and the fight will be on.”
“Won’t they already notice that they’re not being sent regular reports of whatever those guys were doing?”
“Maybe, but we still have some time before they are sure that something is wrong. I’d prefer not to touch the equipment at this point.”
