Perfect

"Are you okay?" I asked, my eyes wide with surprise at his reaction to me. He shook his head, then slowly turned away. "You are ready." I nodded, then moved to slowly sit next to him. "It's my first time wearing a dress as fancy as this." He met my eyes, then let his eyes roam down my body. He looked up again, and the intensity in his eyes had heightened. "You should do it more. It seems to like you." "You think so?" I asked, with a chuckle. He sighed before he slowly stood up and grabbed the box that they had given him earlier. I had wondered what was in it, but with the drama and the time it took me to get ready, I had forgotten about it. He pulled me to the mirror, and I stood there while he stood behind me. I couldn't see what he was doing until he finally leaned to me. He pinned a beautiful set of earrings into my ears before he leaned away. My smile brightened. "They are beautiful, Gray." He didn't reply as he slowly leaned back to me. A necklace came to my chest, and he pulled it upwards till he clasped it unto the back of my neck. My breath hitched, and I turned slowly, my heart fluttering crazily. He was watching me, and he leaned even closer to me. "Perfect," he whispered against my lips, his lips slightly brushing against mine. I wasn't sure if he meant my outfit or my lips, and when I looked up to his eyes, he had a look that told me the latter wasn't an impossible option.
