Thirty Minutes

I am in trouble. It was the only thing I could think of while Gray settled in bed with Kris before he turned to me. It had been roughly thirty minutes since we saw the interview, and to say a lot had happened would be an understatement. Stock prices skyrocketed, calls from the office, a few invitations for photoshoots with Gray, a sudden business meeting he would have to attend in Ecuador, a request by Gray to find a nanny and caretaker for Kris, a shopping spree for Kris that we would have to go to later, and... an invitation for a live TV interview by Power Medis house. It was not only the invitation that had explicitly carried my name, it was also going to be hosted by someone I had always looked up to, Kate Sanders. I could barely believe my eyes. f**k, I couldn't bring myself to believe it. I turned to Gray and he was just watching me, his eyes tender as he slowly blinked, a small smile on his face. "Gray..." He looked down to my hand, then smiled. "You want to go there?" I swallowed, straightening. Gray is a private person. He probably doesn't even want to go. "Uhm. We... we don't..." "I already told my secretary to accept the invite. I have no schedules." I looked up to him, my eyes wide. "I... I am really going with you?" "As well as all the photoshoots too. And to Ecuador. To Peru. To Macau. Wherever the hell I am cause, it would drive me crazy to leave you behind." I broke into a laugh as I got into bed, my face burying in his neck. "Thank you. Thank you, Gray." He kissed the top of my head. "How do you feel?" "I can barely breathe from excitement. Do you wanna help me pick out a dress?" He chuckled. "Keep a weapon handy for the day I ever say no to that."
