Ayne was the one who had tried to control her situation, walking to the woman who seemed both confused and worried about the whole thing. Page did seem scared about the whole thing. She offered her hand, to which Page easily accepted.
“I’m Ayne Kent, and the moping guy who’s always looked depressed is my boyfriend. His name is Lucas Ambrose.”
Lucas, who was busy cutting the portions, looked at his girlfriend. “What did you just call me, Ayne?”
“Apparently, he’s deaf too,” Ayne added.
