Chapter Eleven
In which the seed of doubt started to sprout.

“Xbie? What are you doing here?”
K arrived in the building, confused to spot Xbie standing in the hallway. She wasn’t sure how long she had stood before the door, questioning herself if she had seen it right or if Page had the right to achieve everything that belonged to her. Before Xbie could speak her mind, she spots Kye’s friend appearing behind him. All were carrying what seemed like bags of food.
They often buy sets when they head outside, and all would sit in one unit to share everything. Since all were growing busy with their conflicting schedules, Sundays are the only days that the group could spend together. And after what happened earlier in the morning—all decided that they needed to eat it out.
