I knew the moment I smelled him that Cal was my mate. Everything about him is drawing me to him. I can feel my heart, already wrapping around him, loving him in the way that only a dragon can.
I rumble happily as we fly, my mate whooping on my back excitedly, enjoying himself as he was meant to be, riding on my back.
“Over there, Jewels,” he says to me, guiding me to the place he said he wanted to take me. I feel a wave of jealousy flow through me. No human could get up here. He had to come on a dragon. He has the scent of a dragon, all of the elements blended together. His scent is intoxicating, but now, I wonder if it’s because he’s been with other dragons.
