"Your dragon is much more than you think, your dragon is more stronger and dominant than all the brats in our college, all you need to do is allow it to be a part of you, you think your body is weak because of your health? the truth is your body is weak because you can't accept your other half if you accept it fully you will be so shocked to what you and your dragon can be able to do and achieve." they said together creeping me out.
That day I had a lot of things to think of, I was wondering why the twins would help me, everyone called them a lot of bad names, as much as they feared them they admired their strength and leadership.
I didn't want to believe in them or their words but I decided to do so, the twins took me to the training grounds after making sure I was comfortable with the surrounding, they began training me slowly, at first my body was weak and I ended up injuring myself, but with time I got better and stronger, I dropped out of college not wanting to come face to face with Rosalia, Rosalia to me was just a memory I chose not to entertain, as years went by I became stronger than most of the warriors and braver.
The twins were so proud of me, they treated me like their own little sister, I started looking up to them as my big brothers, when they decided to get married I was happy for them until I realized Marko was marrying one of my tormentors, I questioned the heavens why was it that Britney was always high ranked than me, I knew the bullying would continue so I choose to ignore her completely.
After their wedding the twins shocked the whole territory by appointing me as their right hand and helper, by then we were more than friends, we were family, many people wanted to question their choice and judgment but they feared losing their heads.
with time many members started to acknowledge me because of my hard work and honesty, they started talking about me with admiration and for the first time in my life I was accepted and treated with respect, my sexuality was no longer something they found disgusting but interesting, the ladies who used to hate, despise, loath and bully me forgot their bad, evil deeds and tried their best to swing their hips and flaunt all over me, many tried getting me in their bed.
I turned them down not because I wasn't in the mood for s*x, but because I could see clearly through all those pretty faces, behind the pretense and fake innocence there was a monster that had a greater thirst for power and status, I knew how news traveled fast in our territory, my parents did hear about my position and they tried talking to me politely with smiles but I avoided them and swore to forever do that.
They would never change no matter what, they just realized that many members would laugh at them if they did discover they disowned their own daughter who was one of the strongest dragons in the territory.
My life was now stable, no one would dare bully me only Britney, I was very happy but my dragon wasn't, she wanted and longed for a mate or bond, I tried reminding her we were past the age of finding one but she couldn't give up, I hated the idea of a mate because I was sure and afraid that I would end up getting either a total b***h worse than Britney or a man so I refused to let myself look for him or her.
Yesternight angered me, but I understood the twins' decision, they had no one they could trust to protect their territory but me.
Daisy was a lot of things I never thought a woman could be, she was very much attractive, brave, kind and beautiful, if she wasn't by chance bonded to the twins, she could have been the second girl I would want to woo and date.
She was sweet and my sexuality changed nothing between us.
I sat in the living room thinking about my f****d up past when I heard a loud sound of glasses break, I quickly stood up and ran to Daisy's room, when I entered I froze to what my eyes landed on.
Rhoda was on the ground begging with tears, she had cuts all over her body and she was bleeding, I heard a loud scream outside, I faced the broken window and saw that Britney was screaming in pain on the ground.
"We aren't done testing how sharp my nails are." Daisy said firmly, she was dripping wet, a bucket was near her feet.
her eyes were back to her supernatural ones and I could sense a powerful aura from her, it wasn't her alone doing this to them, she allowed her supernatural side to take partial control, they both wanted the same and that was to kill.
She lifted her hands and scratched Rhoda in a quick movement leaving deep cuts on her as she cried loudly.
I was really enjoying what was going on but I needed to stop her.
"Daisy stop!" I screamed.
She looked at me then dropped her hands, she moved closer to me and stood inches away.
"You dare get in my way?" She asked with a thicker voice.
Shit, did she just give full control to her supernatural side?
This was going to be hard to convince her to calm down, I only had one option left, I closed my eyes and allowed my dragon Iris to take over, when she did the first thing she did was kneel down on one knee.
"I'm Iris, here to protect and serve you my leader." she said in a calm respectful tone.
"I'm called Dawn, I have seen how you care for my human, for now on I shall trust you take care of her." she said.
"Yes." Iris answered then gave me back control.
Dawn was about to fall when I quickly caught her, Daisy was back in control but she looked weak.
I carried her to my room while I mind linked our territory doctor and informed him about Britney and Rhoda making sure putting the blame attack on me, I didn't want anyone to know that Daisy wasn't human.
