All morning Skyler has been hiding her feelings, her eyes gave her away, but she calmed down when Kaleb was around. I can tell she’s a wonderful mom. After leaving Kaleb with Nidia we went to my private plane. Every once in a while, tears fell from her eyes. She probably thinks I didn’t know, but I did, not to mention I could smell the salty tears. I pulled up to the police station and parked. Skyler didn’t move at all, but her eyes were dead set on the building. I could hear her heart pounding in her chest.
