Mistake
I paused from typing on my laptop at the consecutive knocks from outside.
"Come in!" I shouted, my attention focused on the manuscript I was editing.
"Ma’am, should I be the one to cook dinner?" Nanny Meling asked me with a smile. Her eyes sparkled as if a simple 'yes' from me would send her running to the kitchen.
