"STILL Mrs. Hammington, hmm..." Marcus said as he handed me the medication prescribed by the doctor for my headache.
I massaged my temples and gave him a look. "Shut up, Marcus. My head hurts, so please just leave me alone."
"Tss. If your head is still aching, maybe you should have admitted—"
"A coffee is just all I need and peace," I interrupted his lecture.
He shook his head and handed me the coffee he had prepared. I took a sip and closed my eyes, feeling the warmth flow down my throat.
