It wasn’t just me…
"This is delicious, Samantha," praised Granny of the soup I cooked for dinner.
"Mommy's cooking is the best, Granny!" Aegeus exclaimed enthusiastically, sitting between Pisces and me.
I discreetly glanced at Pisces, who was smiling as she watched the conversation between her grandmother and our son. I couldn't shake off what I had learned earlier. I was startled when his gaze shifted to me.
"Eat, Samantha," he gestured towards my plate, which was still untouched. I forced a smile and started eating, but I almost choked on my food at Granny's words.
"Aren’t you guys planning to have another baby? Or are we expecting another little boy, perhaps a girl!"
My eyes widened, and I quickly took a sip of water, but I choked again when Aegeus followed up.
