When Aldrin overhead that busy body of an aunt running her mouth again, he was annoyed. She always tested his parents, it was a shame they had to put up with her for his uncle's sake.

He did not like his aunt but what can he do. The family will always be family, his cousin was not better. Aldrin sighed, just thinking about Cyntia just gave him a headache.

She was one piss of work, but he needs to deal with the problem he has right now and not care about what this woman is babbling here.

"Aunt you should care about Cyntia. I heard she is failing miserably in college, perhaps she is caring too much about others' business. What a pity to inherited such a bad habit? If she was as sweet as my uncle, but she had to be just like you." said Aldrin sarcastically.

"Whatever do you mean by that Aldrin?" she asked dramatically and she was very offended.

"Well, I mean you're an expert when it comes to meddling into other people's businesses. She takes after you, can you tell me if is any of your business when I get a mate?"

"I was just concerned as your aunt, how can you insult me so?" she played the pitiful act.

"Well takes for your concern but it's not needed. Like I said I have found my mate, so this should end your so-called concern."

"How can you be so rude when you're the future king?" she sneered.

"I am glad you still know this a palace and you have no say in the ruling. How dare does aunt find the courage to question the queen and king?" said Aldrin.

Celia looked at him with hate in her eyes. She didn't like the way he always discredited her. She just hated seeing that Malia sitting on that chair, it was designed to be hers. This was the very reason she always found ways to make the b***h angry but she always fails. The woman was tick steel, and the bastard son of hers saw her as nothing.

"Uncle, how have you been? I hope aunt has been kind to you," said Aldrin.

"Why do you always make me be a bad person? How can I treat my made indifferently?" said Celia.

"Don't you? I mean he always has to clean after your messes. If you had an ounce of respect for him, you would stop acting like a savage dog."

"Ahhh... Aldrin how dare you?" screamed his aunt in anger.

"He's joking with you Celia," refuted Thomas. He loved his mate but she was very handful. He always gets peace when she gets head-to-head with Aldrin.

Right now he was having the best time of his life. He doesn't understand why Luna gave him such a mate? It was worse with their daughter.

Aldrin looked at his uncle and found him pitiful.

"Enough with you aunt. Dad, I have something to discuss with you about my mate," said Aldrin with a serious face.

"What is the problem?" asked the king.

"She is a human," said Aldrin with a blank face.

Celia laughed out hard. "Perfect, this is just fantastic." she was having a trill. "How can a king be mated to a human?"

"SHUT UP!" Boomed Alpha King Jack "How dare you? Do you think I am easy to get by? This is the last time you'll come in this palace to make your snacky comments. I've had enough of you." said the king.

Celia whimpered in fear. While looking at the Alpha King with a paled face and shock was very evident in her eyes. She was convinced he liked hence he never rebuked her when she made the noise. However, it seemed she had angered him.

She was so shocked that she found it hard to speak, the air was stuffed with the king's aura. Her wolf couldn't help but submit at the command. She was so mad at this situation, why had he chose Malia instead of her.

Malia was happy that her husband finally put this woman in her place. It was a pity that some people didn't appreciate what they had. Celia had a wonderful man but she was crazed with greed and took him for granted.

"Yes, my king," she finally managed to say. Jack looked at his brother with pity, shaking his head he carried on to say.

"I hate people who are greedy and want things that are not theirs. Respect my brother and my wife, this is the last warning I will give you. Otherwise, I will have no other choice but to exile you."

Afraid this would happen, Celia nodded vehemently.

"I understand sire," looking at her husband who for once in their years of being mates, really looked disappointed and the cold look in his eyes scared Celia.

If this stupid man discards her, how will she accomplish her plans? No, she has to ensure he does not convince the king to kick her out.

"I will leave first, I just remembered I have something I should take care of," she left with her tail between her legs.

"Jack I am sorry for the way Celia behaves." again Thomas apologized for her stupid behaviour.

"It's ok, just make sure she understands I have made this decision." answered the Alpha king.

"Now, what is about you having a human mate?" Aldrin looked at his father "Yes, it's one of the girls in school. She has been bullied by Julia and her friends. I only realized today."

"Interesting." he seemed to be in thought.

"There is no way she is human entirely, she must have supernatural blood on her," he stated.

"Correct, no king has ever been mated to a human, so don't worry," said Malia.

"What if she has a bloodline we are not on good terms with?" he asked worriedly.

"It doesn't matter Aldrin, I would never ask you to chase away from your mate because of their bloodline. She could be a hunter or vampire, we will still have to accept it. Luna never makes a mistake."

"You mean it?" asked Aldrin in disbelief.

"Yes." This came as a shock but he guesses his father is more open-minded than he thought.

This was wonderful news, it was sad that Brandon's mom acted differently about his mate. Well, it can't be helped, life is full of challenges.
