A date

After that night Lea ended up giving in to go on a date. She asked to meet him in town, she didn't want the guy picking her at home. Her mom was noisy and her father was kinda protective. Also, it was exams soon, so them going on a date while seeming very neglective to her mother. When she left home she told her mom she was going to buy some books and sanitary.

When she got to their town mall, she saw him standing by the entrance. He was sexy standing there all by himself. Girls, even women were staring at him as if he was something to eat. This did not exclude her, the man was gorgeous honestly.

Aldrin was 6' 1" feet tall, with raven black hair. His eyes were dark blue, sometimes they changed colour when the sun reflected on them. High cheekbones and straight nose, with beautiful blush lips. He was a beauty that many women yearned for. Lea still didn't believe he was here and he was having a date with her. She was convinced he was playing a prank on her when he asked, but it seemed he wasn't. She still didn't put her guard down, you never know with these people.

Lea was not that bad looking if she said so herself. She was a redhead, at 5' 7" feet tall, green eyes, red pouty lips and she had some freckles around her nose and her high cheeks bones. She also had a little mole, next to her upper lip on the right side. Lea was nervous as she walked to meet Aldrin by the entrance. He was staring and her with a look she didn't quite understand, but it was making her shy. It was almost as if he were hungry.

Aldrin was wearing a black leather biker jacket, white crew-neck T-shirt, black jeans, black leather low top sneakers. He had black shades put on the neck of his shirt. While he was looking at Lea with l**t and love, he couldn't help his emotions. She was dressed up today and she looked even more attractive, but he didn't think it would beat seeing her wearing his oversized s**t on. He couldn't wait for such times.

She was wearing high waisted black shorts, a white tank top, a cardigan, black vans and had her black backpack. Her hair was in a messy bun. She was a beauty.

"Hi!" she greeted him with her cheeks tinted pink with embarrassment.

Aldrin chuckled at her shyness.

"Hi!" he replied with a sexy husky voice.

Lea felt her heart beating faster than normal, it was not fair he was speaking to her with that kinda' s*x husky voice.

Didn't that happen to people who are turned on, on movies and novels?

She shook her head in confusion and disgrace, how can she even think like that when she was with Aldrin?

"You're quite naughty kitten ain't you," Lea looked at him with wide eyes.

Did he just give her a pet name? Why was it so endearing? She ducked her head in shyness and giggled.

'Oh God, this is so embarrassing. Why did I just giggle right now?' she thought.

"How cute?" said Aldrin while chuckling. He saw her embarrassment and her bewilderment when she just giggled now.

It must be confusing for his beautiful mate, after all, she is a human and does not understand the sudden elevated new feelings. He must explain some things to her soon but now they must get to know each other.

"Come, let's go," he said while he held her hand in his "Woah," Lea jumped in shock and amazement when she felt electric shocks on her hand, the moment it touched Aldrin's hand.

The shocks were not painful but soothing, they felt like some feathers were caressing her and making her feel at home.

"Are you okay?" asked Aldrin with amusement written in his eyes. Though he knew why she reached that way he still played dumb.

"You can feel the electric shocks, right?" she asked. She didn't want to act like she was crazy, maybe she was imagining things.

Did I read too many novels and now I am relating them to my date?

"Yes, I can I fell them," he said as a matter of fact.

"Just don't mind them," he commented "You look beautiful by the way," he complimented her.

Lea froze in her tracks, she stood there in shock and amazement, her chick blushing again. She melted again, butterflies were flying intensely in her stomach. She whispered a thank you.

"I already booked at a table, let's go and eat. I know for one I am famished," said Aldrin whilst flushing her with his beautiful smile.

She felt her heart skipping up again in excitement, it was getting a bit hot for her. Once again, she hid her face in shyness.

Aldrin felt a little sorry for his mate, but he would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy this shyness of hers. Lea was not a person who contained her feels often when it came to him. He experienced her lash outs many times after he found she was his fated. He knew that he was not an easy person to get along with hence her temper, but he found it very attractive.

"So, I was not sure what you liked. I kinda' order different dishes." Lea looked at him as if he was crazy, were they having a feast or something?

"This is too much food, Al," she said. She froze when she realised what she called him. "What did you call me?" he asked with a smile on his face.

He was happy she had a nickname for him already, he never liked it when people didn't call his whole name but now it just sounded so sweet from her lips.

"I..I...I sad Al," she replied worriedly. He laughed, "I like it, from now on. You call me like that nothing else," she commanded. Lea could only nod her head in understanding.

They had their lunch talking about their childhoods, and getting to know each other. Once they were done, they went to watch a movie. All in all, they had the best time, it was sad when they had to part their ways.

"I had fun, Lea. I would like to have another date with you the following weekend," said Aldrin.

"Really?" asked Lea, "Yeah," he replied anxiously. He could see that Lea still was doubting him.

"Look Lea, I know this might seem as sudden to you and you have every right to not trust me. But, I promise you. I am being sincere, I truly want to know you better and be your boyfriend even. However, let's take it one step at a time," he seemed while he was looking into her eyes, with his pleading.

"Yeah," he said whilst nodding his head.

"Why now?" she asked in confusion.
