#12 princess party

making our way to Emma and joseline I couldn't wait to see how they looked. I never thought my life would consist of so much pink and glitter but I have to admit I really didn't mind it. making myself so vulnerable today had just about made me vomit. It was the first time I realized that she had the ability to completely shatter me and it was an uneasy feeling but to hear her say yes made it all worth it. those two made it worth it. we stopped in front and I got out. pink rose in hand I climbed the stairs to their apartment. knocking on the door I could hear the clicking of joseline in her shoes and excitedly yelling that I was there. Emma opened the door and I instantly held my breath. she was absolutely beautiful. her hair was down in sift curls flowing over her shoulders and she had on a black one shoulder tight fitting dress showing off her amazing figure. she didn't wear much make up which I really liked. she was naturally beautiful and I loved everything about her. then there behind her was little joseline the princess herself twirling and dancing in her pink dress that sparkled and her glass slippers and tiara. I kneeled down to her level presenting her with the pink rose. " for you little princess." she took it giggling and it melted my heart to see her so happy. I got back up and smiled at Emma. " baby you look absolutely beautiful. "

" why thank you. I figured jeans was probably out of the question. " she smiled at me and I bent down scooping joseline up in my arm and holding my other arm for Emma to take. her hand resting on my arm made me feel like my heart was about to burst open. damn it she really had me. both of these two had me completely wrapped.

" shall we go?" Emma shook her head and we headed towards the limo ready to go to a princess tea party. the driver held the door open for us and joseline climbed in first followed by Emma. I took a deep breath and immediately in next to them. when we got to the princess tea dinner party there were little girls and their parents all over the place. little girls screaming trying to see snow white and Cinderella. we were ushered to a private space and sat at a beautiful table filled with little finger foods perfect for a little princess.

" you booked us privately? Josh you went all out."

I just shrugged my shoulders. I don't think she realized yet that I would do anything for her and joseline. this was nothing. " it is worth every penny trust me. look at her smile." just then an entire cast of different princesses came in and servers carrying our food and tea. joselines face was priceless as she was in awe of the princess parade paying attention to her and only her. what made it even better was when I looked at Emma and saw the tears slip out of her eyes and onto her cheek. I brought my hand up wiping them away kissing the her forehead I just whispered, " it was all worth it if it makes you both happy." she smiled at me. one of the princesses came up to joseline and bowed her head.

" my dear princess joseline would you dance with me?" joseline clapped her hands together and her and the princess made there way to a small dance floor as joseline was twirled around. I had to admit I loved every single bit of this night. the night started winding down.

looking over at Emma she was yawning and joseline was beginning to fall asleep in her chair. I stopped joseline up and she leaned on my shoulder. " I had so much fun Josh. don't ever leave me." Emma looked up at me fear evident on her face.

" princess I don't ever plan on it." Emma stayed quiet the rest of the drive home. I'm not sure if she was scared or if she wanted to take her daughter and run away from me right then. I was hoping she was just scared. I held her hand as joseline had fallen asleep her head rested on my leg as I stroked her little cheek. " stay with me tonight?"

" what about our clothes in the morning?"

" we can come back to your apartment I just want you next to me tonight. I don't want tonight to end." she looked at me and smiled.

" how about we stop at my place so I can grab a bag with our stuff and in the morning we can get pancakes before work and day care? I think this little princess has grown quite accustomed to you being there."

" as you wish." I pushed the intercom for the driver. " we will be stopping at miss Emma's before heading to my place." I pulled Emma closer to me and we just sat in comfortable silence the rest of the way to her place. pulling to a stop I pulled Emma back before she got out. " grab a couple of days worth." she nodded her head and made her way to her apartment. it felt like forever before I saw her coming down the steps and out the front door of her lobby. the driver immediately grabbed her bags and put them in the trunk as she climbed in next to me.

" I grabbed three days worth of clothes and our toiletries. does that work?"

I reached both hands to her face pulling her into a deep kiss. it wasn't enough. I wanted her next to me every morning and holding her every night. if only I could tell her that. I wasn't good at putting my feelings out there like that. " perfect." we drove hand in hand back to my apartment just loving the feeling of her next to me. when we finally arrived the driver opened the door for us and handed the doorman the bags. Emma went to grab joseline but I stopped her scooping her up and grabbing Emma's hand in mine. out of the corner of my eye I saw something moving towards us. f**k my life it was Rachael!

still in the trench coat she came stomping up to us in the lobby. " are you serious Josh stone! you turned me down and show back up here with a kid? is this your kid?" she was fuming and I was looking right at Emma. still holding joseline.

" Rachael, this is clearly not the time." Emma reached over grabbing joseline from me. joseline starting to wake up and see the scene in front of us.

      " actually Josh, I would like to know what's going on too." Emma was holding joseline and looking right at me. this can't be good. I didn't even do anything but I know I'm in the hot seat because my past is catching up to me. f**k!

" Rachael I told you earlier I was done and didn't want to see you anymore. I'm sorry but ... actually no, I'm not sorry. there was no feeling in what we used to do and what we used to do hasn't happened in months. Emma nothing had happened with any woman since the day it started happening with you. I know I have a past but baby there hasn't been any other women..." just then Rachael smacked me across the face. it stung a bit. I looked at Emma and joseline. Emma's eyes were wide in shock. joseline looked horrified.

" Rachael this really is not ok. not in front of my princess. " Rachael's eyes grew wide and Emma stared at me not sure what to say. then out of nowhere joseline's little voice broke the silence.

" I'm tired. can we go to bed now?" she reached out for me and I don't think I have ever been so satisfied and happy in my life.

I grabbed her into my arms kissing her little forehead. " yes my little princess. let's go upstairs and get you tucked away. " I grabbed Emma's hand with my free one bringing us to the elevator and thank God it was open already because I didn't want the awkward wait. stepping in bringing Emma closer to me holding on to both of them with all my life. Rachael's face said it all. she was pissed but I just couldn't care less. I was over meaningless s*x. Emma and joseline was more to me than that ever could be. I'm pretty sure that from the corner of my eye I saw Emma grinning at Rachael as the doors shut and we made our way up.

" so Rachael couldn't take no?"

" trust me absolutely nothing happened. she showed up today as I was leaving I told her no and left and she definitely couldn't seem to understand. I'm sorry I have a past. especially the one I have. I would never do anything to hurt what we have." she smiled and leaned in to me. thank you God for this woman right here.

" I trusted you down in the lobby. if I didn't I wouldn't be in this elevator with you now." she had a playful grin on her face as she spoke. man was she absolutely amazing. we made it to my apartment and Emma showered joseline up and got her ready for bed.

" I want Josh to read me a story."

I walked in with the princess book I had my doorman find while I was out. Emma smiled at me as she got up. "ok let's read this story for the princess! you go take a shower and relax. I'll be in after I read this." after reading the book a few times joseline finally fell asleep.

I made my way back into the bedroom only to see Emma fast asleep in my t-shirt. she was talking softly in her sleep and I decided to just pull her close and let her get the rest she needed. wrapping my arms around her I could hear her mumble softly barley audible. " I love you Josh. " does it count if it's in your sleep? it does to me! what if she doesn't even know she said it?

I kissed the back of her head and whispered out to her or anyone. " I love you too. more than you know."
