Vivian felt her palms turning clammy and her breath becoming shallower. Confrontation with the jerk in front of her was something she could handle, but being in front of a massive crowd? No. An immediate no from her.
“Hello, love. I wanted to apologize for-“
“Don’t call me that.” Vivian stopped him from continuing his pathetic excuse of an apology. “Look, Jake, we are over and there is nothing, NOTHING, you can do to salvage this relationship.”
Jake was taken aback. He did not expect that the once head-over-heels Vivian, the girl who kept glancing at him during their senior high school math class, would move on from him this fast. He thought of just letting it be, but his pride and ego wouldn’t let him. He straightened his back and flashed the smile that most women fawned over.
“Vivian, my love.” Jake started, he bent on one knee and took out a small box. He opened the small box and a ring was nestled in it, it sparkled in the sunlight and the people around them gasped in awe. “I know I made a mistake, but it was a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. So, please I ask you. Please give me another chance.”
Vivian looked at him blankly. Rigel looked at him in utter disgust, “I don’t know why my ears stayed open to listen to that.” She remarked. Camie snorted from her friend’s statement and gave her Rigel a friendly slap on the shoulder.
Rigel and Camie looked at their friend waiting for her to say something. They could beat this guy on the spot, but it was their friend's business to settle down, so they left it in her hands to handle the situation. Vivian felt a headache start to appear, and she held up her thumb and pointer finger to rub the area that was aching. She deeply sighed before opening her mouth to say something, but she was just loss for words. She couldn’t believe that she fell for such a shameless jerk. In her mind, she slapped her past self for being so stupid in love.
“Jake listen, for the last time, please get out of my face or…” Vivian stepped forward and bent down to match Jake’s height and whispered in his ears, “…else I will tell everyone here, how much of a cheater you are and… how small your d*ck is.” Vivian knew how sensitive Jake was to his reputation, he was known for being the son of a wealthy conglomerate family. He was the type to flaunt his money and influence people with it. As well as how much of an ego, he has to even bear the thought of people knowing he has a small member.
After hearing what Vivian whispered to him, Jake immediately stood up and dusted off the dust on his clothes. “Vivian, you won’t do that. In fact, you can’t even do it. I know you well enough to figure out that you don’t have that much courage to say such a thing in front of this crowd.” He said, clearly challenging the person in front of him.
Vivian scoffed and crossed her arms on her chest. “Well, I guess you don’t really know me that well, Jake.” She then faced the crowd and opened her mouth to say, “Listen up everyone! The guy you oh so admire is not even that great! He has the small- mickdhyf.”
Jake hurriedly covered Vivian’s mouth, dropping the bouquet and gifts he had brought for her on the ground. Rigel and Camie tried to pry Jake away from their friend, but Jake was persistent in not letting a word slip and ruin the reputation he had built for years. “Alright everyone, the show is over. You can get back to wherever you came from.” Jake said, pertaining to the crowd.
Seeing the show had ended, the crowd dispersed and went to their classes. Only the four of them were left and Jake finally removed his hand from covering Vivian’s mouth. His hand was full of bite marks and traces of saliva. He never thought a girl such as Vivian would be this wild. He knew her as someone shy, sweet, intelligent, and introverted, but today’s incident proved him wrong. If it weren’t for the sake of his grades, he wouldn’t even have given a second glance at such a woman, but he was failing his subjects and his parents had been pressuring him to run for president in the university’s central student body organization. It was impossible to run with failing grades, and his only hope was the girl in front of him, but between this girl and his reputation, he would choose his reputation.
Jake glanced at Vivian who was busy shooting daggers at him, before clicking his tongue and turning to walk away. ‘There are still plenty of girls just like her, I can look for another.’
Looking at his departing back, the three women couldn’t help but shake their heads in disbelief and disappointment. “I can’t believe he just gave up like that, normally he would have caused a fuss. What did you even say to him?” Asked Camie. Rigel also turned to look at Vivian for an answer.
“Well…” Vivian scratched her head before telling them what he said to Jake. They all laughed at the thought of it. “Wait, so, you’ve seen his….” Rigel couldn’t finish her sentence as she wasn’t comfortable saying such explicit words. She may look tough and mean, but she was still an innocent lady. She grew up sheltered and her family was a very religious family, hence she was a little uncomfortable with saying such words. Even cussing was hard for her.
Vivian almost choked from her own saliva after hearing Rigel’s question, but she couldn’t find it in her to lie to her friend. “No, not in real life, the jerk sent me a photo of him in the nude. I guess he was that confident in his member. You know I don’t have experience of such… exercise but you will know a small one when you see it.”
“Maybe his performance makes up for it?” Camie said with a shrug. They just laughed before moving on to another topic. The three friends walked towards their college building as it was almost time for their next subject.
Their university was one of the universities that was recognized and accredited for honing excellent facilities and education for different students in their chosen fields. The university consists of eight colleges, and each college has its own building and classrooms. Facilities such as the cafeteria, bookshop, and library are all shared by the students. It was a big university and the college where the three enrolled was across the car park, which was an eight-minute walk and their building had six floors, with no elevator.
The ladies arrived at their classroom on the fifth floor, sweating and panting from their walk. They took their designated seats and prepared for the class. The classroom was rowdy and everyone was doing their own thing. It was also eye-catching how there were only four ladies present in a class of forty students. It was a profession dominated by men, but these ladies were not afraid to take in such a challenge.
