Chapter 2: New Boy Or Employee

1796 Words
(Lucas POV) I looked towards my phone with an irritated expression. Kaeton was calling me for the last ten minutes, but I didn’t want to talk to anyone at that moment. Finally, I huffed before picking up his call. He was more stubborn than a mule. “Yes!” “Well, Hello to you too! Why are you irritated already?” He asked and I didn’t answer him. “For god sake, Lucas! You need to loosen up a bit. Please go outside and let off some steam, okay?” Keaton suggested, and I rolled my eyes after hearing his advice for the umpteenth time. “You know, I am not ready for anything new. If you want to talk about this topic, then I am ending your call,” I warned him. “Jesus, Lucas! Calm down. Well, I have a proposal for you. Please don’t say no before even hearing about it,” I opened my mouth to say no but his words made me stop. I pressed my lips in a thin line and sighed. “Fine! You have just ten minutes.” “Okay! A new club opened in my town and F*ck! It was so amazing. I think you should visit it or I can send someone there to tend to your needs, okay?” I furrowed my brows in confusion. “Thank you so much, but you know, I can’t expose my true identity in front of this world,” I heard his grunt. “I know that already, but believe me! You will like that boy just fine,” I considered his option and I guess, It wasn’t that bad. “You have no choice, by the way, because I already sent that boy to your office,” I heard his amused tone and my eyes widened in shock. “WHAT???! My office? Are you out of your f*cking mind, Kae?” I asked and heard his chuckle from the other side. I swear, I want to punch this f*cker so badly, but I can’t right now. “Don’t worry! He will be there in formal attire and will tell you that he came for a job interview,” I thanked the heavens that he finally used his brain. “I swear if he messed up then our friendship would be over,” He laughed and started telling me about his new girlfriend. “Don’t forget to tell me about your experience with that boy. After all, I put so much effort in all this but right now, I have to go,” He said before saying a quick bye. A smile appeared on my lips and I looked towards the couch in my office. “Well! Maybe, It isn’t so bad to meet someone new after all these years,” I thought when I heard a knock on my door. “Yes, Melinda!” “Sir! Someone is here for the job interview, but I have already informed him that he is too early, but he wants to have a word with you,” My secretary Melinda informed me in a hesitant tone. “My apologies, Melinda! I forgot to inform you about this. Send him in,” She sighed with relief and smiled. “Sure, Sir!” I straightened my posture and my eyes were glued to the door. I didn’t expect him to come this early, but Kaeton forgot to tell me about his profile. I heard a knock and said ‘Come in’ before looking towards my laptop screen. I didn’t want to show him that I was too impatient to meet him. “Please have a seat,” I gestured towards the chairs present in front of my table without looking at him. I finally looked at him holy sh*t! Nothing could prepare me for what was in front of me. “I am sorry to bother you, Sir! But, I am here for the Job,” I nodded, but my eyes quickly scanned him from head to toe. His sandy blonde hair was neatly styled back while his baby blue eyes were sparkling with nervousness and excitement. His lush pink lips made me bite my own lip. F*ck! How can someone be this perfect? I thought. He had a lean build but was looking fairly handsome. “What’s your name?” I asked him. “Arwin Dave!” “Nice name, Pretty Boy,” I said while taking in his appearance. F*ck! I started getting hard just looking at his clean-shaven face and her baby blue eyes. “Are you trained or new in this job?” I asked and he seemed nervous. I knew his answer before he could even open his mouth. “N-no! But, I am a quick learner and will learn everything quickly,” He answered in one breath and I bit my lower lip to stop my smile. Sh*t! I would love to train this pretty boy. “Okay! Remove your shirt,” I commanded him and he blinked his eyes a few times. “Huh?” He parted open his lips. I don’t know if he was trying to seduce me with his innocence or is really clueless about everything. “Remove. Your. Shirt,” He nodded and gulped hard before unbuttoning his shirt. I cursed under my breath when I noticed his abs. Although they were not defined, they looked so seductive on his lean build. “Kneel!” He looked hesitant, but this time, he acted without question. “Palms open and head down,” I added and he did. He put his open palms on his thighs and I couldn’t look away from his innocent face. “Sir! I don’t know if this job involved all this but…” He said and looked towards me. I furrowed my brows in confusion. “You came here for this job, right? No one forced you, right?” I asked and he nodded. “Okay! Come here,” He was about to get up when I signaled him to crawl. He didn’t utter a single word and crawled to me. He was looking so good sitting near me. I touched his face and he lifted his face to look directly into my eyes. “Lovely, Arwin! You are perfection,” I caressed his cheek and he blushed. It was such a refreshing sight. A smile appeared on his face. My phone buzzed, and I looked towards the phone screen. Keaton’s name was blinking on the screen. “I think, he wants to hear a few words of praise,” I mumbled before ignoring it. But, he was adamant. After the third call, I finally picked up the call. “What??” I answered. “Woah! Calm down… Can you please talk to me in a normal way?” He asked, and I rolled my eyes after hearing his words. “Fine! I want to tell you about that boy. Something urgent came up, and he would not be able to come today,” He informed me and I felt like someone hit me with a thunderbolt. “WHAT???! Are you out of your mind?” I asked and looked towards Arwin, who was still sitting near me. “Calm down, calm down! I will send him tomorrow…” Before he could utter another word, I stopped him. “Can you please shut the f*ck up! I don’t need anyone now.” I said and ended the call and I felt like my heart would stop after thinking about what I had done with Arwin. He has no clue that I mistook him and…F*ck! What didn’t I ask him about Kaeton before acting impulsively? “Stand up!” My tone was harsher than before. “Did I do something wrong, Sir?” He asked, and I noticed fear and nervousness in his eyes. “No, Arwin! Just stand up and wear your shirt,” He nodded and stood up. I noticed the file that he had put on my table before removing his shirt. I stood up from my seat and started pacing back and forth in my own office. “F*ck, F*ck, f*ck!” I wanted to do something reckless, so I picked up the crystal paperweight and threw it against the wall. It broke into several pieces and Arwin flinched when the crystal hit the wall. I quickly pulled him towards my body but I noticed a small blood spot on his forehead. “F*ck! Did I hurt you?” I asked and he shook his head in no. “I quickly checked the wound, and it wasn’t big but I quickly made him sit on the couch and went towards my room present behind this office. He was sitting there like an obedient boy. I opened the drawer and looked at my reflection in the mirror in front of me. A small frown appeared on my face. I never cared about anyone in this world after losing my loved one, but something was different about this boy. He successfully brings out my protective side without even trying. I shook my head and went towards him with a first aid kit. I sat in front of him on the table and put some antiseptic on the cotton. “It will sting a bit,” He nodded, but when I wiped his wound, He clenched his fists to control his pain. I noticed tears in his eyes and I wanted to smile after witnessing his reaction, but I controlled myself. “What is wrong with this boy? I want to protect him from all the evils of this world,” I thought, and then put a band-aid on his wound. “Feeling better?” He nodded without looking toward me and I knew, He was controlling his tears. “You can go now and I will call you for an interview later. I am sorry for what happened today, I mistook you for someone else,” I finally confessed, and he looked towards me with his big blue eyes. “What?” “Yes! I am sorry for that but what happened earlier should stay between us,” I warned him. “O-okay! Don’t worry! I will not tell a soul about it,” He answered quickly. I ruffled his hair. “Good Boy!” I said and he blushed hard. “Th-thank you, Sir,” He said before getting up and leaving my office. “F*ck! This boy is dangerous for me,” I tried to warn myself, but I knew, I was a lost case after meeting him. I have never met anyone like him. Let’s see what fate has in store for me. I picked up his file and started reading about his qualifications.
