It was quiet when I woke up. There was a not from Rain taped to my mirror that said call if you need me. I knew she was trying to give me and mom space and I loved here even more for it. I crossed my room into my attached bathroom and took a shower. After brushing my teeth and getting dressed I was ready to to talk to my mom. Not mom. Step mom? I don't know.
