I followed my father as we walked to our house. I just wanted to have 5 minutes alone with Jaren before I had this talk with my dad. His face was so sad. He looked so dejected. I just wanted a chance to comfort him, let him know nothing was his fault before listening to this, whatever my dad was about to say that may change my life in ways I don't want.
