Chapter 9It took two weeks before Cal and Gale finalized their relationship by sleeping together. In the meantime, several things happened.
First was the news Tuesday morning from Detective Kingston that Deborah Quinlan had been arraigned and was awaiting her preliminary hearing for the murder of Hank Long. Two days later, he let them know that Deb had pled not guilty to the charges. She was denied bail as a potential flight risk and was now sitting in jail until her trial.
Tuesday also brought the news that Hank’s body was being released. Audra contacted a local mortuary to pick it up and arranged for the cremation to happen on Wednesday.
