Eric’s P.O.V
I was absolutely starving after finishing up my shift as a warrior, training and learning new moves. When I got back to my room I had to take a shower to get all the sweat, dirt and blood off me, then I got dressed and hurried down to the dining hall. I started to smell this scent as I was walking towards the dining hall and I really didn’t think much of it, until it started getting stronger. It smelled like lillies and tulips, but I was surprised because I had only ever smelled this scent on one person and we had always got together when she came here for a job, but it couldn’t be her, could it? I walked into the dining hall and stopped dead in my tracks. There she was, Dee. I stood there for a second just breathing in her scent and watching what she was doing adn before I knew it I let out the loudest growl, making everyone turn and look at me. I walked over to Dee and didn’t say a word to her as I put my arms around her and leaned in, inhaling her scent again.
“I’m glad it's you.” I whispered, just as Alpha Mercury ran into the dining hall after he heard the growl. He must have thought we were getting attacked, but when he saw Dee in my arms he soon realised what had happened.
“Well it's about damn time.” Alpha Mercury said, making everyone laugh. Dee buried her face in my chest, blushing a deep red.
“Well, you two always got together when she came here and Mercury and I knew it was only a matter of time before you two figured out you were mates. Eric had a hard time shifting a few weeks back on his birthday and we had to help him through it. We originally thought that someone from this pack was his mate, but no such luck and after the last time you were here we knew it was you, Dee. we just had to wait for Eric to shift and for you to come back so you could both figure it out.” Luna Cheyenne said, making Dee blush even more. I looked up and saw that some of the unmated she-wolves were looking pissed and giving Dee dirty looks, but when I looked at Dee she was already looking at them, shaking her head and daring them to come and try her, which made me proud and turned on at her feistiness.
“Come on, Eric, let's sit down. I’m sure dinner should be done soon.” Dee said and I nodded, as we sat down next to each other.
Mercury’s P.O.V
After a few minutes the girls came down with their mates and sat down, then Axel’s sister Mia came down with Joseph. I was a little surprised when they sat down together and it made me hopeful that they would accept each other soon. Just as the last of us sat down the cooks and the waiters came into the dining hall carrying trays of food, containing steak and shrimp. After every plate was set down the waiters and cooks sat down too and we all began to eat. We chatted, joked, laughed and talked some more, catching up with each other and when everyone was done eating we all helped clean up and wash the dishes. We made sure that everything was clean before we went on our way. Some went to the movies, others went to hang out with friends and others just hung outside by the pool area, but I had other plans. I placed my hand on Cheyenne’s leg, rubbing her thigh and she looked at me with a slight pink blush on her cheeks.
“I know it's been a few days, love, but not here in front of everyone, wait until we get to the bedroom and then I’m all yours.” Cheyenne said, mind-linking me so no one else could overhear.
“Oh love, you bet your sweet ass you will be all mine, just wait until later tonight and I’ll have you in every position we can think of. I’ll be surprised if you can walk tomorrow.” I replied, mind-linking her back as I brought my hand higher up her thigh. Cheyenne chuckled out loud, making our daughters give us curious looks and then they rolled their eyes once they realised what we were talking about.
“Promises, promises.” Cheyenne said out loud and I smirked.
“Game on.” I replied and squeezed her thigh as we got up from our seats.
“I still have some business to do in the office and then I’m done for tonight.” I said, pulling her a little closer to me.
“It's okay, take your time. I’m going upstairs to shower and get cleaned up. I hope you actually keep your promise and do what you have said because I can’t wait.” Cheyenne replied, gently brushing up against me and pecking my lips. I smirked at her and slapped her ass as she walked past me, going upstairs. I watched her as she walked away from me and then ran to my office, wanting to get my work done a lot faster.
Eli’s P.O.V
The witch I originally had lined up for this had rejected my offer, saying that she knew exactly who Mercury and Cheyenne were and that she would be a fool to ever cross them. I wanted to kill her for her disrespect and refusal, but before I could even step forward she expelled me from her house and put up a barrier so I couldn’t get within one hundred feet of it. I tried to take a step through the barrier and it knocked me on my ass, giving me the shock of my life, literally it gave me an electric shock. Talk about one hell of a restraining order and this one was lethal. It took me a few hours but I was able to find another witch that might do this for me and all I needed to do was head up there and talk to her, but I’ll need a few things first before I can leave. I grabbed some clothes and packed a bag, then took out about fifty grand in cash from my stash and put that in my bag. I threw my bag on the passenger seat of my car and then got in, starting the engine and driving off. It will take me at least three days to get to her and I was planning on driving all the way there. There was no way in hell I was about to be defeated, I wanted that girl and I was going to get her. I didn’t care if I had to kill every single person to do just that, I was determined to get her and do what I wished with her.
