Addie and I were at my sister’s, have been here since this afternoon. We were supposed to come over for dinner but ended up arriving at lunchtime after a phone call from Lola, convincing us to come over earlier. I was sitting have a beer with my brother-in-law Callum, while the girls were making dinner. We did offer to help, but they refused to let us do so.
“You seem happy, Carson,” Callum said, “It has been a while since you have been,” He added.
“I am,” I smiled, “Yes, it has been a while, but that was because Addie was missing from my lips,” I added.
