Addie’s P.O.V
I was sitting having a coffee with Selena; Carson had taken Lola to the toy shop. I seemed to be hitting it off with her, but I am not sure that will be the case when she knows the truth.
“Carson told me about how you two first met,” She said.
He did? I thought he was waiting. I felt my entire body tense, and I became nervous. I went to open my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. I couldn’t find my words.
“Addie, calm down,” She laughed, “There is no need to become nervous,” She added.
“You don’t hate me?” I whispered out.
“What, of course not,” She said, “I have never seen my brother so happy as he is today, and I have never seen him as miserable as he was five years ago,” She added.
