Chapter 9

Months after busting out the love of my dreams, Dominic Toretto. Him and I have been enjoying ourselves in Brazil. But not just any place in Brazil; Rio De Janeiro. The most beautiful place in the world, the beaches and water is amazing, that I don't want to leave from here. Not even to go back to Los Angeles, California either.

As I am laying out on the beach, getting some rays, as I hear someone walking by me. When I opened up my eyes, I see my sexy beast bending down.

"Well hello?" I say to him.

"Enjoying the sun are we?" He asked me.

"Yes, I am." I tell him.

I lift my hand up to him and use my index finger to tell him to come closer. He leaned down more and planted a kiss on my lips.

"How was work?" I asked after the kiss.

"Was great. How was your day." He asked me.

"Its been okay. I went to the shop today got some food, went for a swim and now I'm laying out. Trying to dry off." I told him.

"Hmm," he hummed. "You mind joining me in the shower?" He asked me.

"Of course." I said.

He stood up and held his hand out. I grabbed it and got up. I grabbed my towel and we walked towards the house.

One thing about living here right off the beach, is that I can just walk out my door and walk down the beach and take a swim.

As we reached the house, we walked in the double doors that went to our bedroom and went straight to the bathroom. As I started the water, he took off his dirty oily clothes and helped me out of my bathing suit and got in the shower.

As we let the water hit us, he kissed my neck, making me feel some type of way. A good way though. But we didn't do anything, really. We just took a nice hot shower together.

When we got out, Dom got dressed as my laptop was ringing. I went over to it and it was Brian and Mia.

"Hey guys." I said as they came in the picture.

"Hey Elena, where my brother?" Mia asked.

"He's getting dressed. We just got out of the shower." I said as I towel dry my hair.

"Hello Mia." Dom said as he put his pants on then came over handing me my favorite body cream that I put on after I take a shower from getting some sun.

"Where's Brian?" I asked as I put the cream on my legs.

"He's right here, cooking us some burgers." She said.

"Hey Elena, how you liking it where your at?" He asked me.

"I love it. I'm so glad we came here after what we did. How about you guys?" I asked.

"Its great." Mia said. "So guess who we ran into today?"

"Who?" We asked at the same time.

"Vince." Brian said.

"Shut up, he's here?" I asked.

Brian and Mia, Dom and I were both here in Brazil but different parts. We wanted to stay close to each other but not to close. After Dom had went to jail for awhile Brian and Mia finally got together. Which made the family bigger. But it was already big.

"Excuse me, I'll be back." Mia said as she got up and ran away.

"Brian is Mia okay?" I asked.

"Yea, I think she got the flu or something. She hasn't been feeling good the past week." Brian said.

"Buster you better be taking good care of my sister." Dom tell him after I got up to get dressed.

"Same to you too. This works both ways here now." Brian said laughing.

"Hey, I can take care of myself." I said as I slide my tank top down.

"I know." He says.

"She's not just an O'Connor anymore O'Connor. She's a Toretto as well." Dom says.

I love when he says that. I mean we're not married but I just love it.

As I went to go brush my hair, Dom and Brian talked for a few minutes longer, then got off. Dom came over to me and kissed my neck. I smiled as I threw my hair up in a messy bun.

We walked into the kitchen, so I could cook us some food. I made some spicy BBQ pork sandwiches with some fried potatoes. One thing about being here, I've been eating a lot of spicy foods. When food was done, Dom came over with two Corona beers. We sat at the counter eating our food and drinking our beers as we watches the sun go down. The best time of day, was watching the sun go down.

The next few days, we been chilling around the beach, walking along. Until my phone started ringing. It was Brian.

"Hey brother." I answered.

"Hey, is Dom around?" He asked.

"Yea, why what's wrong?" I asked as I put it on speaker.

"O'Connor what's up?" Dom asked.

"Dom, Mia and I talk to Vince he says he's got a job for us. You two can join if you want, 20k per car." Brian said.

I looked at Dom, I kinda wanted to do that. But we tried to leave that life behind.

"Brian, thought we all said we were leaving that life behind?" Dom asked.

"Yea, well I need the money. Well we need the money. And I kinda miss doing s**t like this." Brian said.

I called it. I looked at Dom for a moment.

"Brian, no. Elena is good where we are at." Dom said.

Well damn speak for yourself.

"Okay, well just hit Vince up if you change your mind. We're hitting up a train that has the cars." Brian said.

"Okay." Dom said then hung up.

He looked at me as he gave me the phone back. I didn't say a word to him. We just walked back home hand in hand.

Later that night, I got up after we fell asleep after having s*x, I tried to be quiet, getting dressed so I could be up with Vince. I could not let my brother do this alone. As I grabbed my shoes, I went to walk the door as the light came on. Dom scaring the s**t out of me I dropped my shoes.

"Elena, what you doing?" He asked me as he set up.

"Dom," I said. But I couldn't lie. "Dom, I can't let my brother do that by himself. Even if Mia or Vince is with him." I told him.

"I know, I thought about it after we made love." He told me. "Let me get dressed then we can go over to Vince's."

Sweet, Dom was in this. I slide my shoes on and waited for Dom to get dressed. As he was done, we walked to where Brian said Vince was staying at.

When we got there, Vince was coming out of his house.

"Dom, Elena?" Vince said as he was trying to get a clear look at us.

"Hey Vince." I said.

"Wow, look at you guys. You cut your hair." He said to me.

"Yea, I kinda changed since the last time we saw each other." I said.

Which was about 4 years ago. I didn't like him then and I still don't. But if he's working up this heist I wanted in to have my brother's back.

"Brian said you had a job going on, we want in as well." Dom said.

"Okay, let's go. They're on the train waiting for the time to hit the spot as soon as we get there." Vince said as we got in a flat bed truck.

Dom held me from the behind so I wouldn't fall off during the ride to the train. As Vince's friends cut open a hole in the train, I saw Brian and Mia.

"Look who decided to join us." Vince told Brian and Mia.

Brian and Mia hugged both me and Dom as we got in the train. After they hugged us, I saw the cars. They were bad ass.

As Vince grabbed a car and they slide it on the flat and he took off. The one guy that gave me a bad vibe was about to take it. But Dom stopped him.

"Mia take this car." Dom said as he took the keys from the guy. He came over to me and kissed me. "Elena, you drive." He told me as he handed me the keys. Then walked over to the driver side. He opened the door and let me in. "Change of plans, go to the hang out and wait for my call. I'm not liking this." Dom whispered to me.

I nodded and got in. Brian looked at us before he kissed Mia. He reached for my arm then nodded.

"Be careful boys." I said as I put my seat belt on.

As they slide us on the flat bed, I started up the car then looked at Dom before back off the bed.

Once I was on the ground I took off and went to where he told me to go. For some reason, I wasn't liking this.

As I got close to where I needed to go, Mia and I got out and started listening to the radio.

Mia and I were sitting around for hours since we got the car. Haven't even heard s**t from Dom nor Brian. I was getting antsy, losing my mind. I feel like something happened after me and Mia had left.

Just then Mia and I heard a noise. Both Mia and I got up ran to hide behind a pillar. As I ran to hide, I grabbed a crowbar. As I stood against the pillar, waiting for whoever was coming inside, so I could beat them. Just then I heard him.

"Elena, Mia!" Dom had called out.

I walked out behind the pillar with the crowbar in my hand and walked over to Dom and Brian. I hugged Dom as soon as I saw him.

"So you were gonna beat us with a crowbar?" Brian asked.

I smiled a little. "She sure acts like a Toretto now." Dom said.

"Well I'm dating one for sure." I said as I kissed him.

"What took y'all so long. Its all over the radio that we robbed a train and killed federal agents?" Mia asked them.

"After y'all left, the one guy got all shitty and was speaking s**t about where y'all were heading." Dom told us.

"Yea, and they shot the agents." Brian said.

I shook my head. I knew this was bad from the beginning. I threw the crowbar on the table and looked at the car.

I walked over to the car and opened up the hood. They were worried more about this car who was driving is and where it was going. Only because there's something in this car.

I walked over to the table and grabbed a flashlight and looked all over under the hood.

"There's something on or in this car that they want." I said.

"What?" They all said.

"Look at it, Dom you said that he got pissed when we took it and went a different way." I said as I looked at Dom.

"Yea, they did." Brian said.

"What are you getting at, Mrs. Toretto?" Dom says jokingly kinda.

He didn't start saying that til we got back together after we broke him out. It was a small inside joke with us. Mia and Brian thought it was cute. I mean if I was starting to act like Dom, I might as well take the name fully.

I smiled at him. "We have to take this car apart and see what's in it." I had said.

"True Toretto, right there." Dom said as he wrapped his arms around me.

I smiled at him for a second before I reached up and kissed him.

Brian worked on the front of the car with Mia watching over him as I was working inside the car with Dom with me.

As Brian had the whole front apart, I took the radio out and got out of the car and set it on the table. As I done that, Vince had walked in.

"God damn, what a mess." Vince said when he came in.

I turned around and looked at him.

"Where you been at man?" Brian asked him as he looked up from the car.

He took the words out of my mouth. I crossed my arms as I walked close to Dom.

Vince looked at Brian. "You better check that tone." Vince said.

I walked a little closer not liking how he was speaking to my brother. "No, you better answer the god damn question, Vincent." I said.

Vince looked at me like I have lost my mind. "Excuse me? I don't need your mouth on me like your buster ass brother of yours."

Brian went to go to him for how he was speaking at me but I got in his face as Mia stopped Brian.

"I don't have to watch s**t. My brother asked you a god damn question now I'm asking you." I said getting pissed. "Where were you?" I repeated the question again.

Dom came over and pulled me back a little before Vince done anything. "Where were you Vince?" Dom asked.

"I had to get away first from the boys. They were asking about y'all, I didn't want them to following me here."

"Bull f*****g dog shit." Brian said.

"Look here buster, I don't need s**t from you." Vince had said.

"That was your f*****g job, Vince. You had set it up." I had said.

Dom stepped in the middle. "Enough, both of you." Dom said looking at me and Brian. "Brian go walk it off now." Dom said as he pointed at him. Then looked at me. "If he didn't do it, then he didn't do it. Now go find a room and rest up Vince." Dom said as he pushed me away from the car into our room.

I was so pissed off, I kicked the chair that was in our room. Dom wrapped his arms around me trying to calm me down. Which was working a little.

I turned around to face him. I looked in his eyes and I saw nothing but love even though he just got pissed off. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He lifted me up and carried me over to the bed and laid me down. Still kissing me.

He slide his shirt off and undone his pants and I started to undo mine. He slide into me hard and worked his moves on me. I must have turned him on after what I must did to Vince.

After we had s*x, we laid there and cuddled until I fell asleep. I don't know how long I was out until I felt the bed move under me. But I didn't get up. Not until I heard yelling in the other room. It was Dom and Vince.

I got up and wrapped the sheet around me and stood by the opening of the door. Watching Dom and Vince.

"Elena and Mia were on that god damn train Vince." Dom said.

"I didn't know this was gonna happened Dom. I wouldn't have done that. You know I would never let your sister or your girl be harmed."

Dom pushed Vince again the pillar then pouched it as Mia and Brian came out their room.

"You lied to us. I never expected you to do s**t like this. I trusted you." Dom said. "Leave."

Vince looked at Dom like your kidding me. "What?" He asked.

"GET OUT!!" Dom said getting loud and pointed towards the door.

"All I need is the chip and they will leave you alone." Vince said as he started walking towards the door. Then looked at Brian and Mia. Then at me. "You never listen to me. Not even when I told you that the buster was a cop and not now." He said as he looked back at Dom. "You never trust me and look where it's gotten us. Look at our family now. I can't go home! Your sister is stuck in this life! Where's Letty, Dom? Where's Letty?"

I walked over and looked right at Vince. "Don't you ever bring my sisters' up in this. If it wasn't for my buster ass brother, you would have been dead. He saved your f*****g life!" I said raising my voice. "Now like Dom said; Vince, get out!"

I walked over to Dom and kissed his shoulder as he picked up the chip. Brian and Mia came over as Dom placed the chip back into the radio and brought it over to the car. As he turned it on, all we saw was places and serial numbers. For money transfers.

"Well, it's definitely a custom chip." I had said.

"Look at all these side menus here for data entry." Brian said.

"Let's check this one." Dom said.

"Look at that. Same building, same order every week." I said.

"It's a delivery schedule." Dom said.

"What's this? Drugs?" I asked.

"No. That's a dealer pack. See, most major players, they weigh their money so they don't have to constantly count it." Brian said as he looked at Dom and I. "Right there, that's 49 kilos."

"49 kilos is a million in twenties. You're saying each one of these

shipments is worth 10 million dollars?" I asked.

"Yeah." Brian said.

"I thought so." I said.

That was a lot of money but for what for. Why is Reyes doing this. Why split it up.

"So what is that?" I asked.

"A 100-million plus in cash houses?" Dom said.

"That's how he keeps it off the grid." Brian said.

"I think it's safe to say that Reyes is smart to want this back. It's his whole network right there, just laid out on a chip." Brian said.

Just say Brian said that, I heard a noise. I got out of the car and looked where it was coming. Then they all just busted in. Dom grabbed me as Brian grabbed the chip and Mia and we took off out the window.

As we were running on the roof tops with Reyes men chasing us. As I fell through the roof of one building, I had saw a DSS woman. She had aimed her gun at me when I rose back up.

As she was speaking in Portuguese then English to whoever, Reyes men was on the roof top shooting at us. I pushed the DSS woman against the house so she wouldn't get shoot.

She stared at me for a moment, until we heard big gun shoots above us, killing off some of Reyes men that was shooting us.

I looked where they were coming from then Dom came running by us and grabbed me.

As we kept running all I could think was that woman. Why didn't she just arrest me right then and there. She didn't even shoot at Dom and I as we took off again.

Once Dom and I caught up with Mia and Brian in the sewers, I bent down to catch my breathe. Then I noticed my necklace was gone. I touched my neck for a moment then looked down my shirt. Yep it was gone. I looked at Dom, like I was about to lose it.

"Dom, its gone." I said as I still had my hand on my neck.

Dom walked over to me and hugged me. "Don't worry, I'll get you a new one."

"That's not the point, Dom. It was your necklace that you gave me when we got together." I said starting to tear up.

He hugged me again, calming me down.

"They're going to be looking for the four of us together now. We need to split up. You, Elena, Mia head south, I'll lead them away." Dom said.

"No." Mia and I said at the same time.

I back away from him and stared at him like he lost his mind.

"Dom is right. Look how lucky we just got. What happens next time? We have no choice but to split up." Brian said.

"I'm pregnant." Mia said. I turned around and looked at her. "I already lost my family once. I'm not going through that again." She said.

"Are you kidding me?" Brian asked her.

"No." She said.

"I'm not going anywhere. Okay?" Brian told her then kisses and hugged her.

"Nor am I." I told her.

"Dom? Promise me we stick together." Mia said to Dom.

I looked over to him.

"I promise. Our family just got bigger." Dom said.

We all hugged each other. Brian kissed Mia and Dom kissed me.

"I'm so excited, I'm gonna be an aunt." I said clapping my hands after we hugged.

"Yep, now we got a little O'Connor gonna be running around." Brian said.

"Correct that O'Connor, we'll have a little Toretto running around." Dom said.

We all laughed.

"When you two gonna have a little Toretto/O'Connor running around?" Brian asked us as we started walking to find a place to hide out for the night.

I looked up at Dom as he wrapped his arm around me. "I don't know." I said at first. "Maybe when we settle down, not running all the time." I said as I looked at Brian and Mia.

"Or the money to help us take care of a little one." Dom added. "I would love to have one with the woman of my dreams." He said as he kissed the top of my head.

I smiled when I heard him say that. I mean I want to have kids and would love to be married first to the man of my dreams. But it doesn't matter which comes first.

As we walked the streets, we found a place down from the market. Brian bought a few beers while we were out and Mia and I got some food for us to eat. Once we got back to the house, Mia and I made sandwiches for us.

After we all ate, Mia fell asleep on the couch while Dom and I sat outside on the porch. I sat in his lap and laid against him. Brian came over with a few beers, handing one to Dom and I.

"To a bigger family." I said as I raised up my beer.

"Bigger family." Dom and Brian said as they touched their beers to mine.

As I laid back drinking my beer, watching the sun go down. I kinda love it where we were for the moment. As long I was Dom, I didn't care where I was at. I felt safe with him.

"Hey, Dom, what do you remember about your father?" Brian asked him.

"My father." Dom said at first like he was thinking. "He used to... He used to have a barbecue every Sunday after church. For anybody in the neighborhood. If you didn't go to church, you didn't get any barbecue. Every single day he was in the shop, and every single night, he was at the kitchen table with Mia, helping her with her homework. Even after she went to sleep, he'd stay up for a few more hours so he could learn the next chapter and help her the next day. I remember everything about my father. Everything." Dom told us.

"That's just it. I don't remember s**t about our dad. I don't remember him yelling. I don't remember him smiling. To be honest with you, I don't even remember what the hell he looked like. I don't remember. He just... He was just never there." Brian said.

I looked away started to tear up. Brian was right about some of those things because he wasn't there for us. I mean I was to young when he left us. And now that Brian brought him up it was bringing back the painful memories.

"Only thing I remember about our dad was," I started to say as I whipped the tears away. "He gave me a bad ass car, that he loved me when I was little. Always tucked me in bed. But once him and mom was fighting, I hid under my bed. Or run to Brian's room and got in bed with him." I said as I looked at Brian. "Brian was more like my father than our real father was. He helped took care of me. Even when our father left and when we lost our mother. It's always been us til now." I said as I grabbed Dom's hand as I took a drink of my beer.

Dom smiled at me then looked at Brian.

"Look you ain't going to be like that, Brian." Dom told him.

"We can't keep running, Dom. We got to get out. We got to get out now." I had said.

"You're right. Here's how we're going to do it. We're going to use this. We're going do one last job. We're going to take all of Reyes' money. Every dime of it, and disappear. Forever." Dom said.

"New passports. New lives with no more looking over our shoulder." I had said.

"And we're just going to buy our freedom." Brian said.

"That's right." Dom said.

"You realize we're talking about going up against the most powerful guy in all of Rio?" I said.

"Yes, we are." Dom said.

"Then we're going to need a team." I brought up. "I know a few people that comes to mind."

"Let's run through the bases real quick." Brian said.

"Who do we got?" Dom asked.

"First we're going to need a chameleon. Someone who can blend in anywhere." Brian said.

"What else?" Dom asked.

"A fast talker. Someone who can bullshit their way out of anything." I said. "I got that."

"This guy is going to have a lot of surveillance. We're going to need someone who's good with circuits." Brian said.

"And with those circuits, Reyes is going to have wells. We're going to need guys to punch through those walls." Dom said.

"What else?" Mia asked.

"Utilities and weapons. Someone who ain't afraid to throw down. Someone to back up every position." I said.

And I knew the person one for that job.

"Yeah, what else do we need?" Brian asked.

"Most importantly, we're going to need two precision drivers. Guys that don't c***k under pressure." Dom said.

"Guys that never lose. You know we got that." Brian said.

I have three guys in mind of who we needed. And I was on top of calling one of them. Brian can call the other two.

It was already gonna feel weird have Roman here while I'm dating Dom. I mean Dom knows about him and Roman has heard about him.

But let's get this s**t on the road. I am ready for it.

Well what do y'all think of this chapter? Mia and Brian is having a baby, I'm excited for that. But what about the deal with Elena having her current boyfriend and her ex boyfriend in the same area. Will it be a big problem or will it be fine?
