With no time to waste, we hurriedly trekked through the Den of Beasts, Roman deciding that it would be best to find the portal that would lead us closer to the Nymph territory. I hadn’t accounted as to the distance from the Den to the portal, however. It had taken us, what I calculated to be more than a few hours to funnel through the crowded forest and this was even with everyone running as far as their feet could carry. I suppose the reality that we were now in a fast-pace world-one contrary to that of earth finally set in. The beasts living amongst the forest’s wood did not make our trip easy on us. “Why is the portal so far away from your home?” I asked Roman, as I knew he’d be the only one capable of answering my question. He suddenly stopped, looking around for a moment. “Paranoia.
