"Alpha Wayne. What's up?" I heard him say. There was a baby crying in the background and that made me sad remembering my lost pup.
"Do you still remember Hunter? I'd like to hire her again. You know how to reach her right?" I got straight to the point of why I'm calling. He was silent for a moment so I waited, the sound of his crying pup faded until there was complete silence. He must be busy getting ready for tonight's event because he seemed anxious and distracted.
