I looked up at Derek’s wolf’s dark brown eyes. I could tell that he was having an internal fight on wither or not to look down past my neck. He tilted his head sideways asking me why I had changed. I didn’t say anything as I moved my hands to cover my body. I was still staring at him when he whimpered to get me to answer him. It was getting. “Oh, um, I didn’t tell Val that we were leaving, she is probably worried sick.” I told him not moving my hands. He didn’t move at all, he just kept his eye contact. “Derek, I need to change.” I said. He didn’t move.
