***Anthony*** I watch Lou walk down the hall. I hesitate for a minute, then turn to my father's office. Since the incident at school the other week, he wanted daily updates on Manuel and his little goons. I switched some of my classes so that I was in all of her classes, Up until the other week, he hadn't touched her, but he took the chance and did so. However, I doubt he was ready for what he got in return. Yes, Lou is a female, but she has trained with her father and mine alongside me since we were little. I have no plans on taking a male as my Beta. That position is hers. So, seeing them three limping in the office and seeing the damage she had done, I felt so proud of her. I had to cover my lips so they couldn't see me breaking out into a smile, I could see it in my uncle's face. He was just as proud of her, He has kept his distance from her once he saw I was in the classes and wasnt leaving her side any time soon. But I saw how he watched her. I didnt like the look he had. Stopping at the door, I knocked. "It's open," dad deep voice came, Pushing it open, I walked in. "Hey, Dad." Hey kid, How did your day go?" I will give it to him; even though he is ALpha to a rather large pack and runs a very successful business, he has always made sure to have time for us, all of us, Always asking how our day was or what we were doing, He never left our mother to handle us alone. We were not bad kids, but we had moments Like when Lou and I turned our siblings purple. Boy, did we get into trouble over that one, "It was good," I tell him. "Hey, Uncle A," I greet him as I sit next to him, "Anything new?" Dad asked, Shaking my head, "No, he is staying away, but he does continue to watch her. I'm unsure what he is up to, but he hasn't even spoken to her, oddly. Normally, he has some off-the-wall comments to her." Dad leaned back. "What is this boy up to?" "Im not sure. but." I stop. I know Lou dont want them to know about the messages. I promised her I wouldn't say anything, but with what happened at school, they need to know. She is going to be angry with me, "But what?" Uncle A. Asked me as he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees, "Ok, she is going to be behind pissed at me, but I think it's time, you know," Letting out a sigh, "Manuel's father has been texting her since that meeting with ALpha Henry. She hasn't let me read the,m but I know he is saying things that scare her and is even threatening her," Her father shoots out of the chair, "What the hell!" He bellowers at me, I dont flinch or pull back at hearing his anger, "Ace," My father says standing, My uncle looks over at him, "Hes not to blame here," My uncle huffs as he starts to pace behind my chair. "Why didnt she say anything?" "She feels it will die off. That's to get her worked up. She doesn't answer. She deletes them," "And you haven't seen what he says?" Dad asks, sitting on the front of his desk. "No. she only told me about it," "I wonder why this boy is so fixated on her?" Dad asked as he looked up at my uncle, who was still mumbling under his breath, "He has always had a thing for her since middle school. He would say things to her and make passes at her," I told them, "Yeah, but there is something that dont seem to add up. It's not like they have spent time with each other. The only time is during school or an event with the pack joining together, So it's not like he knows her super well, But he wants her for his mate." My uncle stopped standing behind me, "You think there something more to this?" My father shrugged, "Im not sure, but there is something that dont seem right. I think we are missing something I dont know what." "You think it has to do with the pack?" I asked him, "It could, but seeing as she isn't my child but the child of my Beta, it wouldn't make much sense to have her. She wouldn't give him access to the pack. She would be his Luna to his pack that his uncle left him," "What about Alpha Henry? You think he is up to something?" Dad shook his head, "I doubt it. It's not him messaging her, and it's just his nephew trying to claim Lou. I guess it has to do with that brother of his. He wasnt thrilled at that meeting," "That Alpha Henry told them he wasnt going to force the issue, seeing as Lou declined. He doesn't seem like the kind of man to be forceful." Uncle A said as he retook his seat. "First thing we need to see what that ass is messaging to Lou, Anthony. I know you are not going to like it, but I need you to convince her to let you see the messages; I know if we come at her with this, it will shut down and not let us in. She is too much like her mother." Uncle A snorts a laugh, "What are you laughing at?" He raised his brow, Uncle A cleared his throat, "Nothing," "Still afraid of my little sister," My father chimed at him. "Please, as if," He waved his hand at him, "Oh, okay then, why don't we call the women here and tell them what is happening? Im sure Ava would love to know what has been happening to her oldest daughter," My uncle's face paled. "Um, no, we dont need to do that," His voice crackled as it went up and became more active than his normal voice. I held my chuckle at seeing him shifting in his seat. He is one of the strongest Betas I know, and he is scared to death of my aunt, "Uh-huh, that's what I thought." Dad chuckled, "Hey, she is your sister. Why dont you tell her then." "Ha, Im not stupid, She would tag team with my mate and have me turned into a lizard or end up with some weird ass wort or something growing somewhere it shouldn't be." I couldn't hold it. I lost it hearing them banner about being afraid of their mates, Doubled over, and wrapped my arms around my stomach as I laughed. "Oh, you laugh no,w boy, wait till you find your mate," My Uncle scoffs next to me, Wiping my eyes as I sat up, "You two are afraid of your women, but yet you are an Alpha and Beta," "Oh, you think you are so great. Then how about you tell your mother and aunt what is going on?" I sober up quickly. "Um, no, thank you. I know what happens to messengers." I shot them a s**t-eating grin, Dad rolls his eyes. As I hear 'whimp' from my uncle, who has covered it with a cough, "Alright, back on topic. Tonight is the annual bonfire; I'm sure he will be there. Do not let Lou out of your sight. I will send warriors to stand by in case something happens. What time are you two leaving?" "I told her seven," "You think you can get her to show you the messages?" My uncle asked, Nodding, "Pretty sure, I will have to ease into it, but I will try," "Good deal. Till we know what their plan is, we need to be on our toes,"
