Lauren is the daughter of the Beta. Everyone calls her Lou. Her cousin Anthony is the soon-to-be Alpha. They both sneak out, following their fathers to a meeting they were told they could not attend,

After getting caught by one of the Alpha men, they end up being taken to the pack house, where both their fathers glare at them.

Alpha Henry is the Alpha their fathers are meeting with. The meeting suddenly turns in the wrong direction when Alpha Henry's nephew Manuel decides to claim Lou.

She is not his mate, but he wants to claim her as his chosen mate.

She outright refuses as he is not her mate, But this boy is spoiled and will be given the ALpha title as his Uncle has no children.

He doesn't seem to want to accept that she doesn't like him or care to be his mate. But it is when his father, Alpha Henry's brother, steps in that the tension rises higher.

Chapter1
***Lauren*** The bell rang, snapping us all out of our train of thought. Everyone started to pick up their books and gather their things, making their way out of the classroom. It was the last class of the day, and I was thankful. I was more than ready to get back to the pack. "Lou, can we meet in the parking lot?" Tony's voice popped into my head. I have to stop in the office quick." Tony is my cousin; He is the soon-to-be Alpha and Im to be his Beta. Even though I'm a female, I know plenty of other females who hold the beta title. "Yeah, T, Im gathering my things now." Shouldering my bag and heading for the door, I toss a quick goodbye to the teacher over my shoulder as I walk out, I usually do not talk with many kids here; I like my small group of friends. Most of these people only try talking to me because of Tony. He always wants to be best buds with the ALpha, thinking they will gain social status. Tony is polite to everyone, but that does not mean he will open himself up and let anyone in our circle. Girls here are the worst. They are always trying to throw themselves at him. Even when he gives them the third degree, they keep coming back for more, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and pulled it out. Seeing it's a text, I swipe my thumb across the screen. I halt my steps as I read it, and my stomach turns. Quickly, I delete the message, locking my phone and shoving it back in my pocket, Shutting my eyes, I take a deep breath. Why won't it stop? It's been a month, and the messages keep coming. I have even blocked the number how many times, Reaching my locker, I pull it open, grabbing what I need from it, "Well, looky what er have here," I groan to myself when I hear that voice. Shutting my locker door and turning, I come face to face with Manuel, "Oh, it must be my lucky day," He chimes as his little boy group chuckles. "What is it you want, Manuel," Propping my hands on my hips as I glare at this boy; he has been a thorn in my side since middle school and has become more of a pin in the ass since a month ago when he tried to lay a claim on me, He looks around, "What, no bodyguard today?' He is talking about Tony. He doesn't ever say anything to me when he's around. He always waits till he's in another class or away from me...Chicken, I roll my eyes at him. Im not afraid of him. I know I can take him in a fight, Hands down. It is his father that I'm scared of, especially how he looks at you. and the fact that he thinks this is the eighteen hundreds and women are to be seen, not heard. "Manuel, if you have nothing intelligent to say or ask, please take a walk." I shove him out of my way, stepping past him. I feel fingers wrap around my wrist. With a hard jerk, my back hits the lockers behind me. My wolf growling in my head, Manuel, it is up in my face. His upper lip is pulled up in a snarl. His one hand holding mine up as his grip tightens, "Listen here, you little b***h; You need to learn your place." "Oh, and will you be the one to teach me?" I let my bag slide off my shoulder. I heard the thud as it reached the floor, He leans closer. "Oh, you know I will be; as soon as your uncle decides to agree to my uncle's terms, You will be all mine then, and let the lessons begin." His tongue comes out, licking my cheek, and that's when I snap. Bringing my knee up, I land a hit right to his groin. As his hold loosens, I rip my hand away, grabbing him behind his head and forcing his head down as it bounces off my knee; I hear the crunching sound. He grunted, staggering back. I give him a hard kick to the stomach, and making him fly back, slamming into the lockers, "b***h," Arms go around me, pinning my arms to my sides. I was lifted in the air, lifting my feet off the ground. With a swift kick of my heel, I hit him right in the knee, "Ah," He yells as he drops me to the ground. Spinning, I punch him in the jaw. Someone grabbed my arm. I swung, giving that person a hit to the throat, then a knee to the stomach. All three laid out on the floor, groaning and holding a part of their body. "What is tarnation is going out here!" Looking over my shoulder, I saw the principal coming toward me. He came to stand next to me, looking at the three boys on the floor. His head turned to look at me, "Lauren?" His brow raised, "Lou!" Tony's voice carried down the hall. Looking over, I saw him rushing towards me. Once he reached me, he said, "Lou, are you alright?" "Yep. peachy king, " I dusted at my clothes as if I had something on them, "Lauren, my office now. Manuel, Troy, and Warren go to the nurse to get checked out, but I want you in the office right afterward." The three moaned and groaned as they walked away, "Dam Lou, what you do?" He snickered as we watched Manuel holding himself. "He asked for it, I did try and walk away, He laid his hand on me first," "Office now!" He pointed at me, "And I will be calling your parents." He turned, storming down the hall, Tony reached down, picking up my bag, "Well, let's go." He slung his arm over my shoulders, "Anthony, you are not needed. This has nothing to do with you, as you were not there." Principal Gregory says as we step in, Tony stops as he looks at our principal, c*****g his head to the side. "With all due respect, Principal G., I think I will stay," They stare at each other for a few minutes, but Tony wins; his rank is higher than the principal's. As he is of Alpha blood, he cant force Tony to leave. "Fine, but you can make yourself useful and call your parents. I will call the others," About thirty minutes later, the other three came walking in. They plopped down in the chair on the far wall. I couldn't help the chuckle that left me as I saw Manuel's eyes turning black and blue. He had a bandage over his nose. He sat slowly as a hiss leveled him. Just as my father's scent hits my nose, followed by my uncle's, I can already feel their anger. I know it's not directed at me; when they pop through the door, my father's eyes scan the room till they land on me. Kneeling in front of me, he looks me over, I see my Uncle standing behind him, "Baby girl, You alright?" Dad asked me, Giving him a nod. "Alpha Cash, Beta Ace," our principal voice wavers as he stands up and walks to the front of his desk. My Father stands, turning to look at the little man standing there. "Care to tell me why im being told by my nephew that my daughter was attacked?" Dad's voice is deep. "Well, Beta Ace, I wouldn't say she was attacked; as you can see, she isn't hurt." He held his hand out to me. "But as you can see, these boys here have injuries, one that your daughter caused," Just then, two other men walked in. I couldn't help my body getting ridged when I saw him. His eye bord into me,
