The Alpha and His Cursed Princess

Chapter 15

Archie who was going through the documents looked at her in alarm as he heard Amelia scream. Casper who was in deep sleep woke up abruptly and said. “What happened? What’s wrong? Why is she screaming?”

Archie ignored him and walked towards Amelia who was trembling and quickly sat down near her and held her hand.

“Amelia, it’s all right it's just an unexpected thunderstorm don’t panic my pilot is well-trained nothing will happen.” Archie tried comforting her but he had a frown on his face.

But Amelia was too scared she got down and hugged him as she could still hear the whispers in her ears and she dared not looked outside the window.

Archie was still wondering what was wrong with the weather as they had checked everything before flying and it was unexpected and lasted only for a minute.

“I feel something amiss around,” Casper said thoughtfully.

“Even I do. But just wait let me handle her and we will sort this out.”

“Princess, it’s all right it gone.” Archie tried to assure her as he knew it was her first time flying away with him all alone in a private jet and this happened.

“Archie..” Amelia tried to speak but was unable to utter a single word.

“Yes, Amelia tell me…” Archie urged.

Amelia tried to control herself and lifted her face to look at him. Should she tell him what she had seen? Would he believe her? But what about the voices? Maybe she was hallucinating.

“I don’t know but I think I saw a strange animal with red eyes staring at me from the window. Just then the thunderstorm started and I screamed. I am sorry to bother you.” Amelia said moving away from him when she realized that she was too close to him and it was very disturbing.

But Archie held her tightly and tried to comfort her and after few minutes he made her sit on the chair and wrapped a shawl around her thin body.

“Don’t think too much, just close your eyes and rest. I am here nothing will happen.

Archie assured her and after she closed her eyes his face became a little tensed and after watching her for some time he went towards his place and sat down. As soon as he sat down the steward arrived and stood beside him.

“What did just happen, Jason?”

“It was unexpected and it looks like…..” Jason said nervously.

Looking at his hesitant face Archie asked angrily.” Say it already.”

“Looks like somebody had caused it deliberately…” Jason said nervously.

“I did have the feeling,” Casper commented. “It was too dark outside and Amelia said she saw a strange creature with red eyes. Somebody is either trying to scare her off or prevent her from going to the mountain kingdom.”

“What do you mean?” Archie said.

“Isn’t it crystal clear as a water, the women around you must have gotten the scent about you traveling with beautiful princess Amelia they must be using the illusion method to scare her?And you know whom i referring to.” Casper chuckled.

“Don’t utter nonsense.”

“What nonsense that’s the truth or why would anyone try to do that. You heard Jason it was unexpected, so it was an illusion created for her.” Casper tried to reason with him.

Archie looked at Jason who was waiting for his instruction and said. “Just tell the pilot to be a little more careful and alert because if my enemies are trying to cause any accidents then they must be prepared and you know what to do.”

“Yes, master,” Jason said and walked towards the cockpit.

“I smell something evil Archie, I hope you are doing the right thing by bringing Amelia out of Halland. I like her too man, like crazy and I get wild when I see her but she is human we can’t get attracted to her.

" Remember her mother she was so beautiful they say and her father the then Alpha of Halland was crazily in love with her and he gave up his mate to whom he was engaged but ended up being killed by his own mate whom he had forsaken. Love can be ruthless and what if we find our mate and she would be just like Lady Louise then what. Archie you have to think about the consequences. We can’t harm Amelia.”

“Yeah but you know the exact reason why I had to lure her out of Halland, so just wait and relax I won’t do anything to harm her but her bother is a different matter altogether, we need  keep to keep an eye on him and with Amelia here I am sure he knows what he has gotten himself into and soon we will know about his plans.” Archie tried to reason with Casper.

“But she is so beautiful and fragile and behaves like an ice princess. I would love to bring out her wild side.” Caper tickled Archie and Archie groaned, his wolf was very smart and alert but when it comes to Amelia he always loses  his focus.

Archie shook his head and looked at Amelia who was sleeping but he could see her tensed face, she was not relaxed at all.
