Dream: Ep-2

So.. my mom was with a little girl. She looked so happy. I forgot that I had a presentation. My friend called out my name, "Lily, hurry up. We gotta be late". Hearing my name my mom looked at me. Before she could ask something, I hurried up with my friend.

When I was coming back it was late already. My apartment was near, So I decided to walk. I saw a cute kitten. I was about to take it to home then I remembered nowadays I didn't have time for me, How can I take care of a kitten! When I stood up I saw mom waiting for someone. I stood there for few minutes to see for whom she was waiting. Then I got a call from my best friend, Lucy. She told me she was coming to my house. It was nothing new. We always have sleepovers, parties etc. When she hung up, I looked at mom and started walking towards the apartment. Actually I did ignored her. When I was about to get into lift someone hold my hand. I looked behind and saw it was mom. She asked " Can I talk to you?" Before I could respond she grabbed my hand and went to her car. I saw a little girl sleeping in back seat. Mom asked "How are you ,dear?". I replied " much better than before ". "Have you enrolled in University? "."Yes". Mom looked so pitiful. I asked " Is she your daughter? ". She said ,"Yes". I felt so broken. It felt like my wounds from past was hurting me again. I didn't have energy to hear more from her. "Lily" shouted lucy. "Thank God " I said quietly. I got off the car and grabbed Lucy's hand and rushed to my apartment. Lucy asked," Is that your mother?"."Yes" I replied with a sip of beer. Don't be shocked sometimes I also drink. " Lily , Are you okay? ". As soon as she hugged me I burst into tears. That was the second time I cried like that. Lucy just patted me on the back and said " It's gonna be alright, don't worry ".

I woke up with a headache. It's common when I drink. I got off my bed and saw lucy making breakfast. She smiled at me. I forgot all about yesterday. Not all.

Anyway I dressed up and was about to take a bite of bread, lucy shouted " Holy Jesus! lily!" look at this. She showed me a photo of mine a dating app and a guy named Ryle asked me for a date. I was not that shocked. Lucy started telling me not to waste this chance. She was excited more than me. Well he was pretty handsome....
