Epilogue
It was a bright and full moon that they stood under, and it shone powerfully through the now almost naked tress. It had only been a few weeks since Samhain, but it was getting colder outside. Still, Ian was okay. As a matter of fact, he felt warmer than he ever had. He looked over at Khnurn, who stood next to him on his family’s property. They were enjoying the night air, as they often did.
“It’s so different, what we can see at night,” Ian said. “It’s like I’m seeing things for the first time.”
“Many things you will see for the first time now,” Khnurn answered. “It’s a different world, or at least it looks very different when you receive Evening Life.”
