Chapter 10

Later that evening, we were sat around the camp fire on the portable chairs that Charlotte had brought. Carlos and Charlotte’s chairs were close together and I was next Leon.  “When you gonna get the guitar out?!” Charlotte exclaimed. Leon looked slightly embarrassed, but only for a second before he rolled his eyes. “I don’t think that’s really Maria’s sort of thing” Leon excused and I nudged him. “Are you kidding me? My dad use to play it for me and my mum all the time!” I exclaimed and Leon sighed. He got up and headed up to the car to get his acoustic guitar. “I didn’t know he played the guitar” I stated. Carlos chuckled and replied “that’s because only ever plays it in front of us. It’s not exactly intimidating”. “Do you play?” Charlotte asked me and I shook my head in response. “Not really, I use to sing whilst my dad played to my mother” I grinned thinking about the memories we shared. Leon returned with his guitar and sat down in his chair. He cleared his throat and strummed at the strings to check it was in tune. “Leonardo, play a song that Maria will know. She told us she use to sing with her dad” she implied, completely embarrassing me and putting me on the spot. Leon turned his head to me and raised his brow. “Is that so?” He asked rhetorically. My cheeks turned red and I pressed my lips together. He began to play a familiar tune and I watched his gorgeous expression passionately change as he strummed against the strings. I took in a deep breath to prepare myself to sing. However, Leon began to sing the words in a sweet gruff tone. It sent shivers through my spine and built up my confidence. “Say something, I’m giving up on you I’ll be the one if you want me to Anywhere, I would’ve followed you Say something I’m giving up on you” I then found my confidence and continued the lyrics to the song.  “And I, am feeling so small It was over my head I know nothing at all”  Leon grinned at me, astounded by my ability to sing and then joined in with me. We sung together in perfect harmony and I had completely forgotten that Charlotte and Carlos were listening.  “And I, will stumble and fall I’m still learning to love Just starting to crawl”. Suddenly I began to let loose and allowed my vocal cords to reach their full potential. I watched in awe as Leon let himself go and lose himself completely in the moment with me.  “Say something I’m giving up on you, I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you Anywhere, I would’ve followed you Say something I’m giving up on you. And I will swallow my pride,  You’re the one that I love And I’m saying goodbye  Say something I’m giving up on you And I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you And anywhere I would’ve followed you  ooohh oh oh oh ooohhhh Say something I’m giving up on you...” We made eye contact, tears slowly welling up in my eyes and he smiled warmly at me. “Say something I’m giving up on you Say something...” Leon strummed the last few chords and it went completely silent. We were deeply connected and my heart was pulsing through my chest. “f*****g hell...” Carlos interrupted. We both blinked and looked over at him. Charlotte slapped his arm. “What?” He said trying to act innocent. “Can’t you see they’re having a moment?! Chico estupido” she groaned and we started laughing at their playful bickering.  “That was just... amazing you guys. Honestly, I didn’t know you could sing like that Maria!” She exclaimed with enthusiasm. I blushed at her compliments and noticed Leon turn to me in the corner of my eye.  “Neither did I” he added.  “You never asked” I said, smugly grinning at him.  “Girls got talent” Carlos interrupted once again. For some reason, every time he speaks he sounds like he is always making a joke. Charlotte rolled her eyes and took his hand. “We’re off to bed, leave you two love birds to have some peace” she snarled at Carlos, dragging him into the tent. We chuckled as he followed her like a child and waved goodnight.  “Buenas noches” I called out.  Once we were alone, Leon placed the guitar gently to the ground and stood up from the chair. He held out his hand to me and said “shall we?”. I knew exactly what he meant by it and if I was honest, I was slightly nervous. Of course I’ve had s*x before and done it regularly with Austin, but he was the only guy I’ve been with. He had the average size and girth, at least that’s what I thought and judging by what I felt in the lake, Leon was a lot bigger and a lot thicker. I took his hand and he guided me into the tent. He noticed my breath catch in my throat and the nervous look on my face. “Maria...” he whispered and stroked a piece of hair behind my ear. He cupped my cheeks with both of his hands.  “We don’t have to do this if your not ready, I don’t want to pressure you into anything you don’t want to do” he gently comforted me. I said nothing, instead I lifted onto my tip toes and pressed my lips against his. Our lips were moving in sync with each other and his kisses turned greedy. My stomach was churning from the arousal that shot through me and once he picked me up, allowing my legs to dangle around his hips, my p***y began to dampen. His teeth gripped onto my bottom lip and he laid me down gently and effortlessly, onto the floor of the tent.  “Are you sure about this hermosa?” He softly asked and I smiled at him, nodding my head. He flashed a grin of relief and reattached his lips to mine. He grunted from the s****l tension that built and traced kisses to my neck.  “Oh Leonardo” I groaned.  “Say it louder baby” he breathed against my skin and I dug my nails ever so lightly into his back. “Leonardo!” I said in a slightly louder tone. I didn’t care who could hear us at this point. Nothing was going to spoil this perfect moment.  “Te de seo” he groaned and I bit my lip. “Take me Leon, I want you to take every bit of me” I replied. Pulling off his shirt, I ran my finger tips down his spine, dipping in between his muscles. I closed my eyes and arched my back as his kisses moved down to my throat. I suddenly had an idea that popped into my head. I grinned to myself mischievously and placed my palm to his chest.  “Leon, could you grab me some water?” I stopped him. He frowned at me and narrowed his eyes. “Now?!” He exclaimed with frustration. I smiled innocently and blinked at him. “Please? I’m so thirsty and I want this to be perfect”. He rolled his eyes and stood up. “I’ll have to go back to the car to get it, we’ve ran out by the campfire” he explained and I thanked him. He grunted as he unzipped the tent. “I’ll be right back” he said, leaving me to scurry over to my suitcase.
