He picked it up, opening the last page, a smile grew on his masculine face.
Celine's angelic face was on the file and the way she smiled in the picture, it brought back images of her in his car that night. The way she hide her face, looking down shyly, he found it so cute. When he told her she was more beautiful than his house, she brightened up the entire place with her smile and that turned him on then just like it was doing to him now.
This wasn't love. This was a messed up version of an outrageous lust that would soon eat him up if he didn't find a way to bury himself deep within the softness of her body. That was the only way he was going to take images of her from his head. He had to stick to his rule of sleeping with a woman only once.
Though something deep within told him that Celine was going to be difficult. He knew sleeping with her once was never going to be enough but he had to try. Attaching himself with a woman was too risky and it was never in his plans. But Celine was refusing to leave his mind.
He took out the picture and neatly folded it in his pockets. He finished up going through a few more files and decided to call it a day.
He exited the building and got into his Lamborghini Sian. He reversed and drove to his house.
He contemplated taking a turn to the club but thought against it. He was sure Celine wouldn't be there, he had already dropped his personal contact number with the bartender incase she returned.
Maybe she would return to his place instead. The idea made drive faster.
Who knew, maybe she was also fascinated by him and decided to return. At least she knew where to find him. She could even reach his mother if she really wanted.
He was getting frustrated, both sexually and emotionally. If Lucas didn't get her to come to him, he would just have to go meet his mother for her address.
Thirty minutes later, he was maneuvering the car into his packing lot. As he pulled the key from the ignition, he had flashes of her soft hands stopping him from starting the vehicle. The boldness she had. The way she pulled him into a kiss, it caught him by surprise. He was always the one to make a move, woman naturally allowed him to dominate, yet, she had this fierceness to her. She kissed him with such urgency it shook his core.
"s**t! I need to have my hands on you Celine," he whispered, his voice hoarse with passion.
This was no longer just an outrageous lust episode, it was becoming a maddening obsession and he had to do something about it.
He got down from the car and walked into his house. As soon as he turned on the light, he fished out his phone from his pockets and dialed Lucas again.
It rang but Lucas didn't pick up.
Kissing his teeth together in frustration he dialed the number again and this time he picked up.
"What is wrong with you bro? Why didn't you pick up on the first ring?" Damien barked on the phone. He needed to hear about Celine and the fact that Lucas didn't pick up sooner to give him the information made him angry.
"Slow down a bit. Why are you getting pissed about this? You did it to me too remember?" Lucas asked and Damien could tell the amusement on his face despite not being able to see him and it pissed him off even more.
"I am not joking here!" Damien responded sternly.
"I was busy okay, what's up?" Lucas retorted nonchalantly.
This made Damien flare up in anger but he swallowed his anger and sighed. Lucas was only trying to piss him off on purpose but he wasn't ready to play by his rules.
"Lucas I don't have time for this!" He barked again and this time, Lucas got the message.
"Okay okay, I did call her. . ." Lucas began but trailed off. He wanted Damien to beg for the information.
"And?"
"She seemed reluctant but. . ."
"But what?"
Lucas remained quiet, enjoying the way the suspense ate at his friend.
"But what?" Damien was getting impatient.
"She was reluctant." He repeated his words, snickering at the game he was playing.
"Lucas!"
Lucas burst into laughter through the phone, making Damien's eyes twitch in irritation.
"I do not have time for this! Lucas!" Damien barked again, this time he said is slowly. Almost like the calm that came before a storm and Lucas read the message.
"Okay, I'll stop. She agreed to come for an interview tomorrow."
Damien released a breathe he didn't realize he was holding.
"Perfect."
