BRYNN
•
After I heard my number being called and realized I had been sold to the strange man, I was dragged yet again to another private room in a dark hallway.
I was taken away from the other girls by a masked guard, who pulled me away. I passed Madam Dorothy, who had a smirk on her face. Well, good luck, pretty girl; you’re his problem and property now, and be hopeful; your new master is a Lycan! How much luck can you get than that?" She called to me with a smirk as the guard pulled me away.
A Lycan? I heard they are more dangerous and horrid than wolves and powerful too, and long ago my pack and other wolves hunted them down till there were a few left, but they were powerful and deadly.
My body shook with fear as I thought about what the Lycan wanted to do with me. We reached a black door, and the masked guard pushed me into the room before handing a document to the masked strangers with the pretty green eyes.
What was so stupid about calling a man who just bought me pretty? For all I know, he wants to do unspeakable things to me. The door closed after the guard left, leaving us two in the room, and the Strange man was going through an unknown document.
"Nice to meet you, my pet. I’m Killian Grey," his dark, sultry voice says. I couldn’t help but feel a shudder go through me.
"Who are you? What do you want from me? I asked, shivering in the cold room that swarmed my skin as he finally looked back up at me,
" from you? No… It’s what you can do for me with your body; you’re my property now."
"I’m no one’s property." I growled at him, but he didn’t seem fazed one bit by it as he walked over to where I stood. He was taller than I expected up close, as my head reached his chest.
He wore a black shirt, and three of the shirt’s buttons were open, showing off his hard pecks and a slight peek of a tattoo. Why the hell was I checking him out when I’m f*****g scared for my life right now? f**k, you’re such a fool. Brynn, I scold myself as I school my features down to a cold one: "You don’t own me; this is a misunderstanding if you just let me go."
"Shh." His thumb reached up to touch my lips, and as his index finger raised my chin for my eyes to meet his, I couldn’t breathe. I forgot how to say it honestly. The moment I looked up, he had removed the mask and the face, and what I was met with was way glorious. "Brynn, right?" His silky voice speaks to me as cold goosebumps edge my skin.
"How did you know my name?" I said this out loud in confusion as I pushed his hands away. "Get away from me!" But I felt I had just made him more upset; his gentle touch on me had immediately hardened and become rough as he faced me to meet us now as cold orbs.
"Listen to me carefully, little wolf; I will not hesitate to show you what I can do, so you obey everything or it’s going to end badly for you." He snarled as tears escaped my eyes. This was real, but I had to get out of here somehow.
Then, I was completely freaked out by the whole situation and how my entire life was turning Into a complete mess in the blink of an eye.
I had no idea what this lycan needed me for just by looking at him. I could feel the power he radiated.
I felt the tension in the room build up, and the Lycan soon began to March around the room with the aura of a king while he said something I couldn’t understand. Was he contemplating what to do with me?
He halted and stared at me. Why was he staring at me? He hadn't stopped looking at me, and that had felt uncomfortable under his piercing gaze. It was as if even my brain was telling me to fear him, that he was a dangerous Lycan, while another part was telling me I was safe around him.
I didn’t know what to think until he asked me the most confusing question.
"Are you hungry?" He asked me, and I was stunned into complete silence. I just couldn’t help but scrunch my face in confusion.
Why was he asking? Why was he doing this, and what exactly was his motive to have spent all that money to buy me? Something tells me he has an alternative, but what could that be?
What did a Lycan like him want from me? "I’m not f*****g hungry; I want to go back home." I uttered firmly, Where did that confidence come from?
I watched him with keen eyes in case he was about to bury me alive, but instead, he had a little smirk at the corner of his lips before speaking.
"I thought I had wasted my money, but I think I made the right choice!" He said this as I stared into his shady eyes, which were filled with amazement and intrigue for me. "Let’s go, little wolf."
He says to me before putting his hand on my waist and leading me out of the sim's private room, "What-where are you taking me?" I say, trying to push myself away from him. I didn’t want to be distracted by his touch, but he just pulsed me closer until we took an elevator to the rooftop.
The doors opened up, and my eyes widened at the heavy wings glided by the force of the helicopter wings. No, he wanted to take me farther away from my home! "I don’t go with you; tell me what you want. I don’t have anything you want!"
I urged him, but he picked me up like I weighed nothing and tossed me into the helicopter, locking my seatbelt. Oh, little Wolf, you have everything I need, and you’re going to tell me everything I want from you," he says as his eyes turn dark.
Just what have I gotten myself into?
