Mandy

Clara gave us a tour of the farm. I must say this place is gorgeous. It's twice the size of my place she runs is great. Everything runs so smoothly here Isabella will fit in well here. Isabella wanted to check duke before we went up to the apartment so we went over to his stall he was eating his hay he seemed very content.

After we were done with the tour and checking duke we headed back up to the apartment.

Clara had asked what time I'd be heading out.

I told her seven I needed to drop the other horse tomorrow evening and then get back home.

Okay, She says I'll come to see you off then.

I hugged her and then walked with Isabella upstairs we decided we get ready for bed. It's been a long trip here.

Isabella seemed to be lost in her thoughts.

"Hey you what are you thinking about?"

I ask her she looks at me.

"I was just thinking how I'm gonna repay you for helping me. You guys took a huge risk in getting me here."

I walk over to where she sitting on the couch I sit down beside her.

"Bella, you don't have to repay me. I should have helped you sooner but you weren't ready to take the steps I was waiting for when you needed me to step in to guide you out, I'm just glad you finally agreed to leave him. I brought you here cause I know you will be safe here. I just want you to get better live your life again to feel whole."

I tell her she starts to cry a bit...

"I will try." She says hugging me.

"I'm gonna miss you very much. especially not talking to you every day but we will speak to each other when it's safe." I agree with her.

Isabella

The next morning came fast I went down to help mandy load up. Clara had one of the helpers pull Mandy's truck and trailer to the front.

I was waiting by the truck when Mandy came out to load the horse.

She and Clara said their goodbyes.

Mandy came to the driver's door where I was standing both of us trying hard not to cry. Mandy spoke first.

"If you need to call me use Clara's phone or one of the barn phones. I'll do the same to contact you. remember no paper trails, Don't go on social media."

I shake my head. "Yes," I told her not to worry I'll keep a low profile.

We gave each other a hug she hopped in and headed down the drive. Okay, I say to myself no time for talking I need to pick myself up.

I walk into the barn ready to start over. I find Clara asking her what she wanted me to start with.

She told me to take today to finish settling in.

I can start fresh in the morning she will put together a work schedule for me. She said she also like to see me ride if she liked how I rode she put me in to exercise some horses.

So with nothing to do, I went to dukes stall. Well boy let's go for a ride then we can get you bathed and cleaned up...

Zander

I mind linking Nick to come down to my office.

"Yes Alpha on my way" he replied.

A few mins and he walks in.

"You know you have the worst timing ever.."

I just smirk. "I don't know what you're talking about," I say to him.

He just groans.

"Man wait till you get your mate I'm gonna make sure I drop in on your guy's alone time.."

"Oh please," I say to him. "One I'm not gonna get a mate 'cause I don't want one. And two you and Sara get enough alone time all the time...."

"Whatever ..." He huffs out. "What is it you need?"

"I want you to check in on the human girl at Clara's. She called and said she had arrived the other friend that drove her should be gone by now."

"Yes Alpha.. I'll head that way now. I'll report back to you. I'll get Sara to go with maybe she can talk with her and get some more information on her.."

"Great" is all I say to him.

He turns walking out of the office.

Seth growls in my head. "It should be us going to see her as well as talking to her."

"Why are you so interested in this human we don't know her she's a nobody to us.."

I yell at him in my head.

"I want to see her. I want to protect her. I want to know her," Is all he says to me.

I just block him out. I don't have the time to argue with him. I don't understand why he's being this way over a human.

I get up heading out of my office to my room I need to get changed I'm doing the afternoon training with the lower rank members .. which are mostly constantly female members.

I grab my black sweatpants a T-shirt and my black sneakers and head out to the training field.

I get down to the kitchen my gamma Noah is there waiting for me.

"Alpha," he greets me.

" Hey Noah you ready," I ask him.

"Yeah," he says. "Alpha can I ask you something .."

"Sure what is it.."

"Well, I heard a few of the omegas talking saying a human girl is staying at Clara's farm?"

I just look at him. "Yes, there is, Clara is helping her for a little while then she will be on her way. Why do you ask?"

"I was just wondering if I could meet her my wolf has been bugging me he says we need to know here.."

He barely got all his words out when Seth takes over with a thundering growl.

"WHY DO YOU WANT TO MEET HER SHE IS NOT YOURS !!!"

Noah bends his neck showing his Alpha his submission.

"I'm sorry Alpha I mean no disrespect. My wolf doesn't want her as a mate he wants to ensure her safety all."

I get Seth under control... "What was that for Seth? We don't have a claim on her, We aren't going to now stop it.."

He just growls at me blocking me out.

I look at Noah. "Sorry man Seth has been restless these last few days. He's kinda short-tempered lately.."

Noah shakes his head."No need to apologize Alpha.."

"Come on," I tell him. "We're gonna be late for the training."

We walk out of the house and down to the field...

Afternoon we greet all the members that are there.

"Afternoon Alpha ... Afternoon Gamma ..."

"Okay let's get started shall we.."
