Chapter eleven

Clara

I made sure to see Mandy off I was hoping she could stay longer. I wanted to catch up it's been three years since we saw each other.

I went into the barn to start some work letting her say goodbye to Isabella.

A few minutes later Isabella came in and asked me what I wanted her to do.

I told her to take the day to get settled in so she can start tomorrow.

I want to see her ride Mandy said she is a great rider and that she is also good at giving lessons which would be good cause I'm short an instructor...

Saying" okay." I noticed her walking toward her horse's stall.

I'm currently in the barns office going over some paperwork. I hear a vehicle pull up I look out seeing Beta Nick with his mate Sara walking towards the barn.

I get up to greet them.

"What can I do for you today?"I ask.

He says that the Alpha has sent him down to check on the human girl to see if there was any more information on her.

"She is a very nice girl she is very timid and scared, When she speaks to me she seems calm, but when a male gets around her or speaks to her she looks down she starts to breath heavy like she gonna have a panic attack."

He just shakes his head. He turns to his mate.

"Do you think you could talk with her and see if you pick up on anything?"

She smiles at him.

"Sure babe. Where is she at Clara?"

"She down in the first ring here I'll walk with you to the door."

We walk to the door Nick and myself stop while Sara walks down to the ring. Isabella is the only one out there right now I've told the staff to not crowd her until she feels comfortable here.

Nick turns towards me.

"I know you're holding something back."

I just sigh.

" She has been through so much my heart breaks for her, When we brought her tack in her hair fell to the side when she bent over to set the box down. She has a bruise on the back of her neck it's a handprint he must have grabbed that poor girl so hard, She is very thin I need to be careful how much work I give her I don't want her to get hurt."

"What!!" He says. "That's not how you treat someone.."

"I know I say to him."

We hear talking looking out Isabella is walking back to the barn with Duke. Sara is next to her they seem to have hit it off.

Once they are at the barn door Isabella saw Nick standing there she instantly dropped her head she became nervous.

"Isabella this is my boyfriend Nick."

Sara says to her.

Isabella looks up quickly and nods her head.

"Nice to meet you," she says quickly."

"Pleasure mine Isabella.." Nick said she looks down.

I see her getting more nervous by the minute.

" Hey, why don't I help you get him undone we can give him a bath him.." She smiles "Okay."

Sara told her if she needed anything to let her know. Maybe they could go do a girl's day.

Isabella smiled and said thank you but didn't look up. Nick and Sara headed out. I went to help Isabella take care of duke.

Isabella

While I was riding duke this girl came walking down she stood at the fence.

She waved at me saying.

I " Hi."

I walked duke over and stopped.

"Hi, are you looking for Clara or someone?" I asked her.

"Oh I just noticed your new here, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Sara I'm a friend of Clara's."

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Isabella I just arrived yesterday."

It was strange normally I'm nervous with new people but she was so warm towards me.

I feel comfortable talking with her. She asked me questions about duke. She asked how long I'd been riding. We talked for about twenty minutes.

I told her I needed to take duke up to get him undone.

She said she walk with me so we headed to the barn.

When we reached the barn I saw Clara standing with a guy. I instantly become nervous.

" Isabella," Sara called my name.

"This is my boyfriend Nick."

I look up quickly.

"Nice to meet you," I managed to get out. Looking back down at my feet.

" Pleasure mine" I hear him say to me. I'm not sure how long we stood there when Clara spoke up she said she help me with the duke.

Nick and Sara started to walk away when Sara said for me to call her maybe we could have a girl's day. Thank you is all I said...

Zander

We had finished up with the training everyone had left the field.

Noah and I were walking back to the house when Nick and Sara came flying into the driveway.

Noah looks at me.

" What's his deal??"

"I don't know let's go find out."

Before we could ask anything Nicks went off about how we needed to do something about that asshole. How could he do that to her she is such a sweet girl.

Sara is agreeing with him she is not a person to agree with that sort of behavior.

"What's going on Nick?" I ask him.

"Zander you need to do something anything to help that girl."

"You wouldn't believe what Clara told me today what both of us saw.."

"What are you talking about?"

"Clara told me she has bruises all over she has his hand print on the back of her neck from where he grabbed her,"

'She is thin Clara is afraid to give her work she is worried she will get hurt.."

'She about had a panic attack just me talking to her all I said was two words." 'On a good note, she seemed to be comfortable with Sara."

"That guy needs to be found he needs to be taught a lesson on how to treat women."

Upon hearing that Seth started pacing in my head. "I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD HAVE GONE... "I close my eyes trying to focus for a minute I know my eyes went black...

"You okay Alpha?" Noah asks me. "Yeah just give me a second."

Once I got Seth calmed down. I look at Nick.

"No, We are not going to do anything no one is going to look for him!"

'Maybe we should know more about him. Do some looking and find what u can on the guy I'm sure Clara knows his name, We need to know if we are going to have trouble with this guy.."

"Yes, Alpha," Nick says to me, he and Sara walk towards the house.

I tell Noah to go ahead I needed to let some steam off.

I'm not sure why Seth got that mad about someone we don't know.

I find myself a little angered about what Nick told me. I don't agree with abusing women... Maybe I should go meet her so I can see for myself. "Yes, we should...." Seth says.....
