I stood behind Liam, paralyzed. His fists shook at his sides as he spun.
When Liam picked up Delilah and started heading toward the water with her, mixed feelings swirled inside me. Jealousy and frustration went first, probably the result of the mate bond. But that was mixed with some amusement at how sweet and silly they were with each other.
Asher had teased me, then before I knew it, I was over his shoulder, and we were headed toward the water with everyone else. I caught glimpses as people ran past, some by themselves, others being carted to the water in a similar fashion.
