Kade's POV
"Kade?", I feel someone call out for me. I open my eyes and immediately groan. All my muscles are stiff because sleeping in the damn hospital chair.
"Kade, wake up", a voice says and nudges me again. I grumble and look at the source of the voice. Thea stands there in her blue scrubs looking as beautiful as ever.
"How is my dad?", I ask her and she smiles, making me sigh in relief.
"He is fine. The surgery was successful and we will bring him back in a few minutes. The recovery is the hard part though. He need to stay here for at least four weeks so we can ensure that everything is healed properly", she explains and I smile.
"That's good to hear. Will you be his doctor? I know I have asked this a lot of time but I will be at peace if you are with him", I say and she smil
