Melanin’s POV Anxiously, I stared at the familiar door, wondering if this was the right thing to do. I had only known them for a week, and although they had welcomed me, I was scared of how they would accept me and my baby. Going back home to my mother wasn't an option because I knew she would be highly disappointed in me. I didn't need any more emotional downgrades right now. “Just knock on it,” Olivia encouraged me.
