Chapter Fifteen
Lee pulled into the Hardware Supermarket parking lot at seven-thirty the following morning. It gave her one full hour before the office staff would start arriving to tackle the multitude of problems that involved the running of four major store locations. Passing up her usual parking spot, Lee drove around the back of the building and parked beside the loading dock. She was looking for a newspaper.
Lee was an avid news hound and started most mornings with a coffee and a copy of the daily paper. It was a habit that had become ingrained over the years, so she was surprised to learn she had missed the story of Rosemary’s death at Women’s Hospital. Margo’s revelation on the way to the meeting of The Coven had taken Lee completely by surprise.
