Kayne suddenly noticed the fast switch of expression on her face and thought she was feeling uncomfortable due to their close proximity. He smirked and without hesitation, he swooped her up in his arms and carried her bridal style startling her in the process. She was too shocked to even speak and he started to carry her back inside the house. Some of the pack people were standing outside and they all looked at them in surprise when they saw their alpha carrying her in his arms.
“What’s this?”
“Looks like Cerise is going to be our new Luna. Heard they’ve been getting chummy lately.”
