Cerise groggily woke up the next morning and was surprised to see a vase full of beautiful ruby red roses sitting on the small nightstand next to her hospital bed. She blinked twice, thinking she might be seeing things, but when her vision cleared the flowers were still right in front of her. There was a small note placed next to the vase and she grabbed it and opened it.
Dinner. Tonight. At 8pm.

Her eyes slowly widened in surprise when she read the initials written on the bottom. She didn’t expect the flowers to be from Kayne and also wasn’t expecting him to invite her for dinner as well. She was starting to feel a lot better and her wound was starting to heal very quickly as well, so she agreed to go. The door suddenly opened and she looked up and saw Jen walking in with a smile
