Chapter 8

This is probably one of the best mornings I ever had, waking up with Sean beside me. I smiled upon seeing him sleeping soundly while covering my stomach with his arm. He really is territorial even asleep.   I shifted so I can watch him sleep. I started tracing his eyebrows down to his pointednose. I never feel envious of anyone's looks aside from him. His facial structure is just so unfair, his eyebrow that always knits together when he see me wearing something too showy, his lips that potrudes, his long eyelashes that are even prettier than mine and this pointed nose that I'm always envious about.   I smiled, realizing how lucky I am. All these years, all the girls he was with were just a cover up for me. Although everything's not clear yet to me, his reasons behind keeping me, I still trust him.   I smiled evenmore when his eyes slowly opened. He saw me watching him and he pulled me so he can crash me on his arms.   “Goodmorning baby,” He murmured, he placed his face on my neck.   “Good morning. Let's get up now, I'm hungry.”   “Five minutes,”   “I'm hungry,” I pouted.   “Eat me,”   “Ha-ha.” I used my sarcastic tone. He laughed at that. Gosh, his voice sounds so good, so husky.   "How's your sleep?" He asked, I felt him sniffing on my neck. "You smell so good."   I giggled, "I slept well, how about you?"   I felt him kiss my cheek, "Very good. I hope we can sleep together like this everyday."   I chuckled, "Mom will kill us."   “Hey lovebirds, stop cuddling! Get up now, let's eat rbeakfast!” Dylan suddenly appeared at the door, he didn't even knocked!   Sean didn't seem to mind him, he remained beside me sniffing my neck.   “Hey Sean, that’s my baby girl you are with. I'll slit your throat once you make her cry.”   Sean chuckled, “When did I ever made Samantha cry, dude?”   “Just take care of her. Get up now, I gave you enough time last night to be together." He walked on my side and pulled me away from Sean. I made face.   “Tss, acting like a good cousin now when you both are just the same.” I murmured.   “You're a different topic here Samantha,” he shot me a serious look that made me shut up.   Sean stood up grinning. He put on a t-shirt before helping me get up of bed.   Armie and Kim are smiling widely at the both of us at the dining table. I immediately knew what they're thinking so I rolled my eyes at them.   They evacuated the room last night when Sean told them he'll sleep beside me. They slept at Kim's personal room.   “Good morning,” Xian raised his cup of coffee, Sean nodded at him.   We joined the breakfast. Kim and Armie started telling me about what happened last night at the pool. Dylan, Sean and Xian are talking about something else.   We took a shower after breakfast and then we cleaned the rooms we used. We thanked Kim's parents for the stay before we all left separately to go home since we still have classes today.   I didn't ask my dad to fetch me. Sean gave me a ride. Well, I guess my father already assumed that because they didn't bother asking me anymore. I think they knew Sean and I will make up here, it's the usual anyway. We fight but we will surely get along within the day.   “We'll go to schoo together okay,” Sean said while driving.   “What's new?”   “If you just have the patience to understand what I've been doing Samantha, we won't fight.” He then peeked at me with a teasing smile.   I rolled my eyes, "If I only have the patience you're telling me."   He laughed, “I know.”   “Psh.”   We didn't talk that much until we got home. I waved him goodbye before getting inside our house. My mom and dad is at the kitchen when I arrived. I just smiled at them before going upstairs. I don't have much time to have a chat with them because I still have class.   I took a quick bath and then dressed fastly. We don't have uniform in our school but we have dress codes to follow. Just like my usual outfit, I'm wearing a high-waist denim pants, a white Guess crop top, and a white lowcut converse rubbershoes.   Sean is at the living room, talking to my parents when I went down. Their attention drifted to me when I made a sound at the stairs.   “You better get going, it's already time.” Dad's not surprised that we're okay now. It always happens I think they got used to us already.   I both kissed them on the cheeks before we strutted out the house.   Sean is smiling all the way to school and even though he looks good when he's smiling, I still can't help the irritation I'm feeling when he smiles like a lunatic. Especially when he's teasing me for some reason.   The smiled plastered on his face didn't fade even when we're already walking at the corridor. I hit his arm with my books in irritation.   “Ouch, why'd you do that?” He doesn’t look mad, he looks amused like he's seen an amusement park on my forehead. I badly want to grab a chair and hit his damn face.   “Stop smiling okay?! You’re creeping me out!”   “Creeping you out while everyone's convulsing?” He chuckled. “Don't you like me smiling?”   I looked around and saw the girls giggling at every corner. Well, smiling is not Sean's thing. He's usually the pokerface or the mean look but he looks playful right now. I don't know why it's pissing me off.   Or maybe I just want his smiles for me, exclusively for me. I want him to remain mysterious to everyone and open only to me. I blushed at that thought. Slowly, I'm realizing all the things I've been trying to reject and hide from myself.   Embarassed at my realizations, I walked fastly so I can leave him behind. I left him at the corridor and I went to my first class alone.   I went to the comfort first so I can cheek how I look. I applied some powder and liptint to retouch my look. I was about to go out of the restroom when Nicaseane's group of friends came in.   I tried to avoid them but that's when Nicaseane stood infront of me, blocking my way. I looked at her with my chin up.   “What do you want?”   I tried to escape when she just stared at me but her friends are around me. I stepped back when I they locked the door.   “Are you happy now, Samantha?” I watched her as she speak. Truly, this girl is not just beautiful. Maybe she's just immature now for not realizing that it's too low to go after a guy. She's beautiful, she can find a lot.   “If this is about your break-up with Sean, I'm telling you I don't have anything to do with that.”   She smiled at me sarcastically, “Lie better, Samantha.” She stepped forward. I'm not afraid of anyone in this school, no matter how large their group is, I know I always have the backups.   But how can I not be scared right now that I'm trapped in the middle of these immature girls who only about catfighting?   “Sean warned me not to touch you Samantha. Now tell me, did you plan our f*****g relationship? Did you tell him to court me and dump me after?” Her voice boomed inside the girl's restroom. She's so angry I can feel she loathes me.   "Why would I do that? Sean is not my toy, why would order him to do something like that? If he warned you, then that's probably because he know you have the tendency to do this to me. So if you don't want to test his patience then get out of my way.”   She smiled atme but then I was surprised when she pushed me inside a cubicle. I groaned when my back hit the door, I fell at the bowl sitting. My waist and thigh hurt.   “I don’t believe you, liar. I am sure that you are toying him completely. I'm sure you made some stories to make him do that to me. Tell me the f*****g truth Samantha.”   “I already said I didn't do anything you f*****g barbie doll!“   A loud sound from the slap she gave me almost made me deaf. I held my right cheek, looking at her unbelievably.   “You deserve that bitch.“   I stood up and slapped her too. “How dare you slap me! My mom doesn't even do that to me!” I slapped her at the other side of her cheek again. Her friends gasped but no one dared to stop me.   “You’re a queen in this school Nicaseane, but you’re definitely not someone to hurt me. If I say I didn't do something, just believe me. You don't have the rights to hurt me. Sean warned you right? If I were you.." I looked at everyone of them, "I won't try him." I smiled at her.   "Besides, you all know what kind of guys he is. He can be appealing to everyone but he’s a heartbreaker, and you are not an exception to that.”   I glared at the girls blocking my way, they immediately stepped aside.   “Next time you try to bully someone, make sure you really can.” I walked towards the door and opened it. To my surprise, Sean's standing behind the door. He was cooly leaning on the wall. He stood up when he saw me, he smiled and walked towards me.   I heard gasps behind me but I couldn't mind them anymore when Sean placed his arm around my shoulder.   He leaned so he can kiss my temple, “That’s my girl.”     **
